I don't feel that bad for them. I actually can't stand Marie. LOL |

ok TOTAL SPOILER ALERTS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T FINISHED... I felt bad for Jesse. You can say he brought it on himself technically... but really, Walt drug him down and manipulated him through so much. Not saying that Jesse being a drug dealer at ALL was a 'good thing' but before he met Walt, he was just a dumb kid trying to make money and didn't have any goals or anything. Once he got with the Great Heisenberg his life just kept spiraling out of control. And Jesse was very trusting and easily manipulated. He at one point, looked up to Walt, like a father figure. I felt anyway. Jesse at least had a heart, and a conscious.... and I felt like at the end, Walt did not. He just was so cold, he didn't really care anymore. I was so happy though when he finally admitted to Skylar that he did it for himself, and he was good at it. I wanted so bad for him to just ADMIT that it was a power trip/ego trip for him more than anything. And while I do truly believe his character started out doing it for his family, it quickly became apparent that it wasn't his sole reason. At the same time, I was still sad he died at the end. I think it was necessary... and I couldn't have imagined it ending any other way, but it was a weird thing, because it's a character I felt sympathetic for, for a while anyway. I do think it's funny how Jesse kind of became the moral compass of the show. I loved his character growth. I thought the finale was awesome, and perfect, and wrapped everything up (except POOR HUEL!! lol... is Huel still just sitting in that room all scared?? hahaha) and the finale definitely satisfied me. I hated Jesse/Walt hating each other through the last few eps and I couldn't believe Jesse was working with Hank. I missed them being more of a team. So I was happy when at the last minute when Walt decided to save Jesse, and technically 'died' to save him, even though I guess he knew he was going to die anyway. Honestly Hank kind of irritated me a lot. I think he was an egotistical prick for a while but I admit I was sooo sad when he died. He just was SOooo close and you couldn't help but feel happy for him when he finally caught his Heisenberg. That ep with the shoot out left me on the edge of my seat. SO MANY EMOTIONS haha |
Gotta say I loved the line "Goodbye, Lydia" as you see her sitting in front of her humidifier. Lol |
OMG Brit, everything you said I totally agree with. Quote:

Also, If I am remembering correctly... (now I want to go back and re-watch)... I'm pretty sure he cleared Skyler of any wrongdoings when he spoke to her from the payphone and he knew the cops were listening in. Remember he was calling her a b*tch, etc, and then he started to cry (without letting skylar know). That the scene was really about Walt using this opportunity to take full responsibility for everything and Walt was trying to make Skyler as an innocent victim for the police listening in on the conversation. |
Oh yeah you're right! I was wondering about him stifling his crying. The one barrel, I remember the Uncle told the other white supremacists told them to take one barrel off the truck and give back to Walt (About $10-11 Million). Then Walt told Skyler he didn't have anymore money left, spent the rest of it getting home. On another note, have you seen the show Mom? Badger is the ex husband Hahahaha! |
I am bumping my OLD thread! I have these people in my life that are essentially like grandparents to me. Not blood related. But anywho we have remained my close my entire life -- I literally told them for two years to watch BB. They're in their early 70's, the husband doesn't ever watch TV (except he liked the Sopranos) and EVERY time I saw them (like a few times a year) I'd be like... come on guys you gotta give it a shot. They're retired now and living in SC so lots of time on their hands haha! I decided, about... six months ago maybe? to just buy them the first season on Amazon and have it shipped to their house. Then they felt obligated (man, I'm pushy LOL)... they literally couldn't stop. The husband would force himself to only watch 2 a night but his wife always wanted "just one more" lol. They would text me after every few episodes to get my thoughts & feelings. They watched every behind the scenes on each DVD - LOLLLL. I was like you guys I have created a monster! Just thought it was funny! They finished the whole series pretty quickly. |
Brittany, LOL, the producers need to pay you for promoting the show, sales. :D |
We watched the entire 5 seasons over the last week or so. Went from feeling empathy for Walt's situation to "He's a really bad guy!" Addicting show once you get started. Netflix is about $9 a month to just stream it. |

I just watched all 5 seasons in the last 12 days. This is one of the best shows I have ever seen. |
Britster, you're hilarious! I was like that too, trying to convince people to watch the show, but to a lesser extent. BB is such a good show!! Best of all time! A couple years ago during our vacation in Hawaii, every night after the sun set and after dinner, we'd be excited to go back to our resort and binge watch BB! :D Good times! |
