Here We Go Again
 
Woke up yesterday to an armadillo in the front yard so I go to the back for the girls to potty. Well there was a rabbit in the back yard which made Mikki go crazy. Then I come inside to find not one but two scorpions in my house. Sigh.....here we go again. Another summer full of critters. :(. I think I need to move.

Have sort of the same thing going on in my fenced in backyard....I have to check for bunnies every night...thankfully no armadillos or scorpions. Oh, and an occasional large frog on the patio!

I live in the River Valley. But the worst part is that I live in the country. Critters everywhere!!

Heading to AZ soon and I'm terrified that Ellie or I will encounter a scorpion.

you can always move to MI. Yucky creatures stay away bc they don't like snow.:D

I live in the country too....close to Conway

Honestly, I have never lived in the country and I'm glad I rent......I'm a city girl and hate all bugs. So when my lease is up, off I move to the city, well, somewhere where I don't have to drive 15-20min to get to civilization! :D

I had my first sight at a black widow hanging out on my front door! :eek: I then proceeded to spay like a maniac!!

I live near a lake too, so if its not buggies, it's geese :cool:

Oh yes I have all kinds of critters. And snakes! :eek: I was always a city girl myself. We are here though cant move back any time soon. We have other property that borders the National Forest. Do you know what it is like to wake up to a bear in your window??!!

Well Mr. Armadillo came to visit the front yard once again. Apparently he found a food source and kept coming back. Well today my DH eliminated the problem. :eek: So maybe we won't be dealing with the armadillo any more. Now if he would take care of the scorpions! :D

We had a massive amount of grasshoppers this year. They ate my rosé bushes down to nothing. :thumbdown

I think thats kind of cool! LOL I'm sorry, I know it's a pain to have to chase the girls and protect them... and maybe not scorpions in the house is cool, but I have a weird fascination with them, maybe bc I am a Scorpio! LOL But an Armadillo... thats kind of cool and always makes me think of the Armadillo cake in that movie with Julie Roberts, Steel Magnolias.

Im really glad we dont have scorpions. The other day I was in the hot tub room and I grabed a towel and someth7ng jumped out at me and startled me. We have frogs in our back yard so thats most likely what it was

We don't have anything like that in the UK....well, apart from rabbits :D

I can understand the scorpions and Black Widow being a bit scary as they're poisonous....and a bear at the window!!!!! :eek: Neil would love that as he adores bears!!! :rolleyes:
But armadillos? Are they dangerous? They always look so cute and harmless :p
