Ruby and daddy busted again !! 1 Attachment(s) Every night at the same time I put the dogs out for last potty before I go up to bed. One night last week Ruby is no where to be found. She's not in her bed, my sons room and she not sleeping behind the recliner. So up to our room I go. I walk in not saying a work and Ruby comes out from under the bed, runs over to me, starts licking my feet, rolled over on her back and than back to licking again and pretty much groveling with head hung low like she has just been scolded. They were Busted, Big time and DH knows there are to be No dogs in our room at night. But he continues to do it even thou he know we both loose too much sleep when they are in there. If I had left the door open she would have gone running out of the room like she normally would. But since she asked so nicely and with those huge loving and innocent puppy dog eyes I gave in an let her stay. She knew she was busted and she refused to go back under the bed until I let her know it was OK. How could I refuse this face ? :) |
I couldn't resist that face. Shoot..she'd be in right up on my pillow :D |

Sure she'd be in bed with us but that wouldn't be fair to the other three . You know that saying: Three's a crowd . . . well Six is ridiculous ! |

Yea she real good about flashing that pitiful puppy dog sad face and getting her way and if that don't work she does this intense stare down !! But nope not falling for that, either way she's not getting in our bed any more. Under the bed, Sure ! |

No way I could resist. We have a king size bed that we bought just so we could all sleep better. We have a German shepherd, rat terrier and a cat that sleep with us. When Jasper is neutered and recoups from his surgery, we will start letting him sleep with us. My only concern is that he has peed on the bed twice now. But we will see how it goes. :) I know he wants to sleep up here just as much as we want him to. |
Every sleepless night, I swear no more! Then bedtime comes the next night and they beat me to bed, and I ask them politely to move over so I can get in.. LOL |
We have a King bed too and the dogs use to sleep with us but I also have a 6.7" 287 lb. Hubby and than my little chubby self. There is this empty space between us but nope. The dogs insisted on always being right up our butts, literally. They would lay right under us in the folds of our legs under our butts, right up against our back or on top of our feet Sometimes it wasn't uncommon to have one or several dogs in every body crevis available which made it Extremely uncomfortable for us ! Sorry but I make no excuses, I love my babies but my sleep is very important to me. They have me all to themselves 15 hrs a day. I need my 9 hrs of un interrupts sleep or mamma is not a happy camper. :) |
