I wish my job was more active. I sit at a desk AAALLL day long. There are days I'm lucky to get 3,000 steps in. My goal this week is to do MORE than 10,000 everyday. Its challenging when you sit for 8+ hours a day working. I walked with my mom this morning for 1.75 miles, we both want to do 2.5 miles in the mornings but I have to be back at home to get ready for work by 7am, and neither one of us REALLY want to start walking at 6am... well she would. LOL I go to the gym in the evening or walk outside if its comfortable at least 5 days a week and I try to walk another 1.75 miles on my 1/2 hour lunch break everyday that its not raining. I'll even go in super hot humid weather. I get back to work feeling so gross though! So 30,000 steps is nearly impossible for me to get in a day! wwwaaahhh My record for 1 day was 17,000 steps and I thought that was GREAT! LOL |

What of you just take tiny steps? |
Yesterday was my first full day with my Fitbit...OMG It almost killed me but I got my goal of 10K steps :p No way could I get 30K maybe in a month or two but I will have to build up my stamina. I love the Fitbit though, and it is rather addictive. I like that you can log all your intake and it lets you know how many cals you can still eat and reach your weightloss goal. |

2nd full day with fitbit yesterday....15K!!! All I can say is it is addictive and loving that it makes me feel accountable for every bite I put in my mouth. It makes me really think of my food choices and if I want to waste cals on empty calories. |
