I need a ride..... I need someone to come get me and take me to Mexico........we can stay there and drink margaritas on the beach. I'm a nervous wreck! I don't know why, it's not like its a "real" wedding, and neither of us could back out, but all the excitement and planning and last minute details has me nervous. |

Oh, I tease my daughter on the day she gets married, I will dress up the Yorkies, Spud and JoJo and they will carry the ring pillow down the aisle. I am just now seeing this thread. Gary and I went to Michele & Brandon's vow renewal. She was stunning!! The setting that she picked was lovely and one of my favorite places in FtW. We both had a very good time and were thrilled that we were able to go. I hope that Michele will take a moment and tell all of the details. |

Well bless your heart!!! My youngest daughter has been talking to me about her wedding and she is trying to avoid all the hassle a big wedding can be. She has decided that she wants to be married at the courthouse (her dad and I were) and just have immediately families present then go out to a nice dinner (we did that too). So I think I understand what you are going through. I also helped my oldest daughter plan a big wedding and I had to do most of the work because she was living out of state at the time. It was wonderful fun and she, and we, have wonderful memories of that day. I would recommend you take a deep breath and if you haven't already, make a list of the things you need to accomplish to have the wedding you want. Remember its your day. After you make a list (I kept a notebook with pictures and ideas for each part of the day (pre-ceremony, ceremony, reception) and plan accordingly. Take it one step at a time and you will be fine. I hope you have a wonderful wedding experience and remember it needs to be fun not stressful!! Blessings!! |
