Well! if there's shame on you Linda, then shame on me too! I saw that listing and was only disgusted and furious about it but I did not react. It was only after I saw it here, I knew I too was not the only one who felt this way.:thumbup:
I have all the Sellers responses to my email. One minute, she's shocked that anyone would look at this item in a bad light. The next minute, she thinks we must be perverts to even think of this item in a sexual way. Then she becomes apologetic again and thank me for bring my or concern to her attention. She's still emailing me now! I didn't if it were against the rule to show her conversation here. All in all, she seems like a good person at heart.

Thanks for the Gold star though, I don't think I've earned one before! :D

Thank you Kristin, you're so right! Now that I have Yazmin and the love I feel for her makes me want to think that everyone loves their pups like we do on YT. I still have to thank YT for educating me. ;)

Thank you, I agree! I do have to give credit to the Seller who was willing to listen though. I was expecting her to report my message to eBay as harassment.
She said she bought the lingerie with a robe, but then found she had no use for it but kept the robe. She thought it would look cute for a halloween costume, a dog party, or a photo shoot.
She and her husband were shocked to learn it was being viewed as x-rated, or worse, being sold to a pervert freak. This is why she ended the listing.;)

Oh my, great job on talking the vendor into removing that listing Carla!

Honestly, I have a doggie swimsuit pattern but I've never even given thought to making swimsuits. It just seems sorta pointless; the only time you can see it really is when the dog is on it's back :confuse2:

Yazmin has 2 piece swimsuits and I too have found them to be pointless except to be only seen as a cute! :) She's worn them in her pool but trust me, they look NOTHING like lingerie!
I don't feel anyone would immediately view the suits or Yazmin as sex object! IMO, there 's big difference between the two.

I have some swimsuits but they don't look like that thing did. They are a bit silly but kind of cute in a way. :) Here is a pic of my Pippi in one. :D

I agree that the seller deserves credit for listening to your concerns and for ending the listing.

This is so sad and as you saiid, disturbing! These poor babies, heart breaking. :( I was shocked to see eBay allows idiots to sell dogs on eBay! What's this world coming too!

Completely different feel to this. Nothing sexy or edgy about it. Just a cute baby interacting with his person to make a cute statement about a summer activity and the dog is obviously involved in and enjoying the spirit of the moment and all the attention. Even looks like the model is trying to close his/her little eyes to complete the pose of a relaxed, vacationing sunbather taking some stolen leisure time. Look how that baby is stretching out those little legs and the torso to get lots of sun rays on those pale little thighs and white tummy! Can't help but smile at that. ;) :D ;) :D

Something about that original picture really bothers me. It just doesn't sit right, but I'm not sure why. I was going to say I'm really guilty of bathing suits though and actually just took some pictures of the girls in them today, but then I saw your picture of Pippi in one and felt better! :D

WT* ? that is beyond just weird that is just SICK ! What kind of sick individual does that. What would ever posses someone to even fathom putting a dog in that, its a little perverted if you ask me. I wish I hadn't seen it now, I am still sitting her trying to figure out how to say what I want without offending anyone, so nope sorry, cant do it so I will just stop while I am ahead.
