I need motivation To get things done..... I need to pack up some things for the wedding to make sure I have them. I then need to load said things in our truck, so that they're all in one place and I can make sure I have everything. It's an hour drive to the location and I don't want to have to come back for a forgotten item the morning of.... I need to get up and shower (and shave) and go tan, because I haven't in a while, and there's only 13 days to vow renewal day...... I need to go work out to try and shed this pesky little 5 pounds that's hanging around (on my hips no less) and is causing my dress to be a little tight in the hips area.... I need to get my eyebrows waxed (I don't want to do it too close to wedding day because I tend to get red and irritated)... I need a manicure and pedicure and have no idea when to get them.... I got my hair trimmed the other day, just barely because it actually has some length to it (finally!!) and had her put some layers in it, but I have NO clue what I'm doing with it for wedding day.... I am nervous as all get out. My stomach is quesy. Okay, now that I got that out of my system, I'm going to mark some things off my to do list lol. |
Are you getting married? |

It will be a first real wedding for us, since we did a JP 15 years ago. |
Oh that is so exciting!!! I always told my hubby (who I married twice..yes, twice...both times at the courthouse) that our 10th anniversary would be a wedding/vow renewal. I'm so jealous!! Congrats and have fun!!! Now, get off of this YT and get your arse in gear, Woman! :D |
How exciting! |
dog Hi first off is a yorkie in the wedding i tease my daughter and tell her spud and jojo will be in their tuxes. Make a list and do one thing at a time. Try not to stress. I pray for peace and contentment at this beautiful time of your life. Bless you and your family. |
Oh that is so exciting and romantic! Ok, now get goin', girl, you've a lot to do! Make it memorable! ;) |
Very sweet! Wishing you a great day for renewing your vows. Don't procrastinate on your to do list. |
I did get quite a bit done today.... Got the alterations on the dress finalized; got some decorations completed; showered, shaved and tanned; didn't work out but helped a friend move, so I sweated in the heat and drank lots of water; made a list of things I still need to get and a list of things that need to go in the truck and then another list of things I need to make sure and include in my overnight bag. I don't have as much to do as I thought and my husband and son pointed out that I'm over thinking and over stressing. Unfortunately our venue is public and won't allow animals, so no, the dogs don't get to participate. Knowing Allie, she would jump in the water and someone would have to go in and rescue her- (she jumped off a dolphin tour boat on south padre island 2 years ago and had to be "fished" out of the ocean) so maybe it's a good thing lol. |

Would it be possible for you to get some of it done 'all under one roof'? :) For instance - eyebrows/manicure/pedicure all could hopefully be done at a Salon - and they could advise you on your 'hair-do' - maybe put it up or curl it and give you some ideas? Good luck, and enjoy every single moment :) Sally x |
Congrats! Don't sweat the small details! Your day will go by so quickly so just enjoy everything that went right and forget anything that didn't go as planned! I think it's so sweet that you are nervous to remarry your hubby, must be love! |
AWWWW how awesome is this going to be i hope we get to see pictures. congratulations. |

Put yourself first, Michele...I think you have a hard time doing that! Those are my words of wisdom for today! :D No more gifts for anyone...only for YOU. You don't need motivation...just need to think of YOU! :) |
