Anyone have any household chores they loath having to do?

Mine would have to be laundry. Oh, laundry. It's NEVER ENDING. And more specific would have to be towels. How does my family go through so many!? I'll have most of them washed (never all at the same time, impossible.), all neat and folded, put away, and then what seems like an hour later the hamper is full. We have a pool so I'm sure that contributes. Still!

Dishes are pretty bad too, but now that I have a dishwasher I feel I can't complain. I lived without one for a year and THAT was miserable!

Laundry is definitely the top of my hate to do list. The top of my "hate it so much I gave up trying" list - trying to keep the toys picked up! Between Sarah and Sam, I can pick up one room, and by the time I get to the second, the first is trashed again!

Dishes.....I have been married for almost 37 years and I have never had a dishwasher.....except my DH! Lol......that is a lot of dishes! :eek:

At home we didn't have a dishwasher and I was the one who had to wash all the dishes..
Now I live with my boyfriend and again, I am the one who washes them..

So true. My two year old always wants to help me do it, he means well but it makes the agonizing task take that much longer -_-

I actually don't mind dishes. We don't have a dishwasher either. I've just never gotten into the habit of using one. Even when we did have a dish washer, I always washed by hand. Doing dishes is after a fun time cooking and eating, so it doesn't bother me.

Vacuuming the stairway, this job should to delegated as a form of punishment (in my opinion only).

Also not a really big fan cleaning the bathroom but like the stairs I do it because well no one else will.

These two...the only difference is my stairs are hardwood, so one day after cleaning, they already have crap that dh has tracked in or the dog has strewn around. They are impossible to keep clean and mopping or swiffering them kills my back.
As for the bathroom...blleeechhhhh. Hate it!

I don't do laundry, nor dishes....fiancé does that! For me its cleaning the bathrooms, especially the powder room! IMO that bathroom is for guests only, so why in h*** is it always freakin dirty! There are two bathrooms upstairs, use one of those, that way I'm not constantly cleaning the powder room! Seriously I clean that bathroom everyday! :rolleyes:

Ironing! I HATE IT!!!!!

I picked up an iron for the first time in like EVER 2 weekends ago because I thought I was too old to still have curtains that look like they were still folded with the creases in them. So I HAD to iron. DH irons well... but not me! Boy did he have fun watching me!!!

I used to make an 'ironing' pile, when I lived alone... and 4 years later, I would donate it all to goodwill! I just would NOT iron. Luckily I have DH and he's very frugal, so all I have to say is "just put it in the ironing pile and I'll donate in 3 years" and he'll pull out the board and evil appliance and iron them all for me! LOL

I dislike ironing also therefore I send anything that requires ironing to the dry cleaners for presssing. Heck I could not have done as good of job as they do.
