I want to comment on this thread. Whether a person is 13 or 31, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should they be called a big fat fake, or any other names - that absolutely will not be tolerated. It is very clear in our rules that name calling, badgering, denigrating etcetera is totally against the rules.
How can we call ourselves a loving community and at the same time talk about a member, ANY member mind you, in this manner? No one deserves to be treated like this.
There a hundred ways a person could confront another member about potential dishonesty - and in such a way that is neutral, kind, and OPEN to their answer - whatever it may be.
I can't prove anyone's age at this forum, but she says she is 13 and I'll take her word for it until proven otherwise. As far as being 13 - no, it doesn't mean she gets a pass - but she absolutely deserves a different kind of understanding that reflects her years of wisdom and development.
IWuvYorkies has apologized and she appears very sincere. Let's prove that we actually are a loving, kind, understanding community and accept what seems to be a genuine apology. Anything less than that would be an embarrassment. |
