I have been through periods in my life when I was young that we were so poor, we had to burn anything that we could find to keep us warm. We went hungry many times, but were never without a place to live. I am thankful for everything I have and very thankful for YT.
You guys are the best! | I thought you had an awesome post- Well my DH and kids had a awesome Christmas together, for the first time in years I got everything I wanted and then some! Diamond earrings, steamer cleaner, Tfal pots and pans, 2 pair of PJs-that don't fit my fat butt, a Digital camera and a few small things. Every year seems to have its ups and downs- but we need to remember what the reason for the season is.......
I asked my father in law how he was the day after Christmas and he said "aweful" and complained about a bunch of little things. I looked at him and said "well your standing upright with your feet above ground I think your doing pretty damn good" We need to remember "Jesus" is the reason for the season" and the gifts are just tokens sometimes not so good of tokens but the gift of life is there for most of us. If we are upright and sitting in front of a computer things aren't that bad. It is the little things in life that we need to be thankful. I hope I didn't overstep any rules or guidelines for YT. Maybe the nose hair trimmer can be used to trim yorkie hairs (I have no idea if it can be used for anything else) or given as a gag gift for something?????
I hope everyone has an awesome New Year that is full of Health and Happiness! |
