Sleep walking or weird o? Ok this is a little strange, but I’m curious to see if I’m the only weirdo! A couple nights ago DH and I were sleeping.. it was maybe like 2 in the morning. All of a sudden (I don’t remember this, it is what DH told me) I jump outta bed and I tell DH “come on we gotta get out of here”. DH said I was grabbing my clothes on the floor.. DH said “ what are you talking about we are sleeping, lay down and go back to bed” then I guess I told him “ No we gotta go” and started walking out the bedroom door… Dh told me he went and grabbed me and I guess I snapped out of it and said “ what’s going on” and DH just said “Im putting you to bed, let’s go lay down” OMG!! What the heck!! LOL I have never done anything like this LOL I mean would this be considered sleep walking? It makes no sense to me, I have never ever done anything like this or even talked in my sleep!! DH always tells me I sleep like a rock!! |
I have done this... Dreams become real and I talk to my husband sometimes. I used to sleep walk when I was younger, but now it's more sleep talking :) You aren't a weirdo! lol |
That is hilarious. I have never sleep walked before but I have sleep talked and my parents said I was crazy. I was laying im bed and all of a sudden I got up and started punching and saying go go go!! LOL crazy night!! |

I hate stressful dreams that seem real. I'm always losing the dogs, or taking an exam at school that I haven't studied for. |
Nope your not weird at all. My hubby sleeps walks and talks. Have you been stressed any lately? I noticed that it seems to happen when hubby is real stressed about work. |
my dh does it too......more sleep talking than walking thankfully but when he was a kid he slept walked alot. your normal!! hehe. |
I do this all the time lol! One time I was at my ex boyfriends apartment and I actually got up and walked out of the apartment (I had PJ's on lol). He came in the hallway of his apartment building and said Morgan and I woke up!!! I haven't done anything that bad since Thank God:) |
I take meds at night that just zonk me out and I sleep walk and talk. My husband hasnt told me of an incident for a while though. It is strange to think you do this and dont even realize it. It is scary too because people have gotten in their car meaning to drive or walked outside in their sleep too. I have walked down our flight of stairs to the living room before |
Sleeping meds will make you sleep walk. I was with my daughter last weekend, and she got up at 2am and started eating while standing there in the dark room! She didn't remember doing it in the morning. |
Have you started any new meds? I think a lot of meds have this side effect! Its kind of funny to hear stories of what you do in your sleep... but it can get scary too. My dad one time told me that I sold a blue suit to a guy in my sleep, he heard my whole conversation! LOL (I was 19 and worked at men's clothing store at the time!) |

My Son use to sleep walk and once he walked outside. I heard the back door slam and I got up to see what it was and I looked outside and he was just standing there. I called him and he did not answer so I kinda just guided him back in the house and back to bed. In the morning he did not even remember... |
When my son was about 5, he was upstairs sleeping & I was in the kitchen on my laptop. Out of nowhere, my son comes in the kitchen, pulls down his pants, and pees right in the middle of the floor! Then he pulled up his pants & went upstairs back to bed like it was no big deal  The next morning, he didn't remember a thing. To this day, he thinks I'm making the whole thing up. People do crazy things when they sleepwalk! |
Aaaaack!! Im not a sleepwalker LOL!! Omg you guys are flipping hillarious with your stories! |
I wish my hubby sleep walked but he has night terrors... Nothing like being woken up by him screaming at the top of his lungs and when I sit up asking what he calls me his Ed's name and punches me in the jaw lol thank goodness that only happen once usually it is just screaming... Well except the time he yelled spider and slapped my forehead :p |

When my dh was still my dbf, one night he made a right into the closet instead of a left into the bathroom and whipped it out and had I not caught him he would have pissed in my shoes . Thank goodness I caught him and turned him towards the left instead of the closet on the right. That was with no drugs, only alcohol. :D |

Night Terrors...can be caused by many things. After our next door tenant burned our house down (careless smoking) I kept waking in the night running through the house and calling 911...so bad that they knew me by name literally....nothing could stop me! Eventually hubby unplugged all the phones at night!! It was horrible...really horrible and it always seemed real...I know how you feel! embarassing as hell |
Night terrors are scary!!!! For the awake person too! I have a cousin who, when she was 2, she was in daycare at a woman's house, there were about 8 kids there.... all the kids were riding around on little bikes in the driveway when a large branch broke off a tree and fell, instantly killing the woman's own child. All the other kids saw it, but they were young. It was awful. Well my cousin had night terrors for years afterwards, sooooo bad I refused to babysit her because I was scared!!! She's 26 now and has NO memory of the incident... but apparently her sub conscience still does! |

My daughter was about 9 years old at the time.....I too heard our front door slam, I semi-woke up (as you do!) and ran to a front window - and there was Anna hot-footing it out of our Close, towards the 'main' road, with her pj's and her brother's Caterpillar boots on.... I don't think I've ever moved so fast in my life - thank God I heard her, and that she's still here to tell the tale (that she doesn't remember....:D) Sally x |
I have definitely done some sleep walking in my life, but mostly when I was younger. It is scary to wake up and not know where you are and how in the world you arrived there! |
