Where is the warm Spring weather we had yesterday! Who didn't tell the weather that it is Spring? It is presently raining.....I mean freezing rain! :eek: The ground is white with little tiny balls of ice! We are expecting freezing rain, snow and below normal temps for the next few days. So, so tired of WINTER!!! |

I hear you guys...I did look at the forecast and it sounds like its going to warm up to 40 this weekend (for all of one day)...i am sooooo sick of snow and cold weather! |

Weather Channel just said our Tor Con is going to be 5 early tomorrow morning and tomorrow. I hate severe thunderstorms. We have a basement but I am one of those that has to see what is going on. I would rather have snow, freezing rain or anything else but severe storms. Going to be a long night tonight and tomorrow. |

Let's see, according to our weather report for tomorrow. Here in my area of Texas, today we were almost 80 and we have cold front coming in tonight with severe thunder storms,hail and winds. tomorrow it's supposed to not even get out of the 40's. I HATE, HATE late in the middle of night thunder storms, it drives my Willow crazy. (sigh) |
It was 73 yesterday, 84 today, 70's tomorrow, and will be in the 50's Thursday and Friday. Storms headed our way too. We have air on one day, heat on the next. It's crazy! |
Spring has finally found it's way to middle Tennessee. It's currently 76F and I'm loving it! But only for a few days. Crossing fingers that the thunderstorms and cooler temps hold off until Sunday; we have an outdoor wedding to attend on Saturday afternoon. |
We had even warmer weather today with less breeze! Made it seem almost balmy, well, if you use your imagination. It's supposed to get cooler in the next few days as the Spring storms roll in! |
North Ga 80 degrees today. Had to turn on the a/c to sleep...the furball puts off a lot of heat for something only 7.5 lbs... |

We still have 3 feet of snow, and it is forecasted to snow on and off for the next 5 days. Our first snow of this season was October 10th. That means it has been 26 weeks, or half a year, of snow. WHERE THE FLIP IS SPRING???!!!! :( :( :( :( :( I know I must have jinxed it a couple of weekends ago when we cleaned out our closet and I figured it was close enough that I could put away my winter clothes and bring out my spring and summer clothes. Oops. |
Oh my gosh, we are getting 1 inch of snow tonight with 1/2 an inch of ice! UGHHHHHH where is SPRING? When I looked at the weather on Sunday I saw 60s everyday this week.... but each day it has changed and gone down. Today not even 50. Rain all day... snow/ice tonight! We got a winter storm overnight and it's still storming. Our highway hotline hadn't updated since 4:30 am, and when we were halfway to the city it finally updated to "Travel Not Recommended" on our highway, but DH was too stubborn to turn around :( We made it here safely on roads covered in sheets of ice, but it is snowing hard and is supposed to snow all day. Hopefully we get home safe tonight. Seriously, mother nature?! |
Well, it happened again....we got dumped on last night! 4 1/2 in. of snow on top of the ice! It is truely beautiful.....but I would rather have it in the winter instead of Spring! One good thing is that we really needed the moisture from all this freezing rain and snow! There is always a positive in everything! :) |
