That's just sick!!! Why would someone do that to a ferret?! Grrrr!! Those poor babies :(

This man actually paid just a tad over the going rate for a regular/healthy ferret...wonder why the people didn't just sell a ferret as a ferret? Stupid azz people.

And, what in the world did that lady that thought she got a chihuahua really get??? A rat on steroids??

OMG!!! How funny is that? That ferret looks nothing like a poodle! What an idiot... but then again, these sellers are apparently getting away with it. Must have a ton of ferrets to get rid of...:yelrotflm

Why would anyone buy a "dog" of any kind that looked like that?!?!?! Looks absolutely nothing like a dog - looks like a big rat and like possums, though they are far better looking than either. How in the world could he think it was a dog? And don't ferrets squeak and chatter quite a bit? You'd think that sound would give it away if the visual didn't do it!

I had a coworker who actually had two pet ferrets and they sounded like little disasters with the trouble they caused them but they said all of the laughing and fun was worth it.

I had 3 ferrets at one time (back when I lived in Maryland). They can cause distruction if you let them. Trust me. But I agree with your old co-worker...they are so entertaining and fun to play with...and smart - makes it worth it. :)

With that said, I will never have another ferret. They all died very young and had horrible times with fleas, anemia, blood transfusions, and one had cancer. I loved them so much and it was very heart breaking

Seems as if I remember that girl having to vet hers a lot, too. I know I was kind of shocked that an animal like that would have a lot of sicknesses. I don't know why, but I used to think that because an animal wasn't a pet, they were rather immune to lots of medical issues. But as I recall, she did talk quite a bit about having to stop off and leave or pick up one or both of the ferrets at the vet. I remember one of hers was named "Max" because she talked the most about all of the things he got into and destroyed but also what a total clown he was. She said you could not stay mad at him ever. She carried photos of the ferrets in her wallet just like we do our dogs!
