Praying for your pain to subside and for you to be able to return home soon. I'm sure Wallee misses you very much, but would want his mom to focus on resting and healing. |
Wow! I believe they left so many stones when they took your GB out, and now to have pancreas irritation, too. I guess you are hurting, and probably nauseous as h***. Take care of yourself. Praying for a swift recovery. I'm sure Wallee misses you but he will be fine for a few days. ;) |
Hope you feel better soon and get home to Wallee. |
Cindy, I just saw your message....give me a call if you can...so sorry you are going through this my friend.... |
Wow Cindy, I hope you feel better soon and get home to Wallee. Please take care of yourself. Hugs and good thoughts |
Cindy..praying for the pain to go away...ugh. no fun. |
Hope your feeling better this evening |
hope you are feeling better....((hugs)) to help |
I'm glad they were able to get out those nasty stones, but hate that you've had to suffer with the other stuff. I hope that this is the last of your trouble and can live pain free from now on! As far as the morphine-enjoy it while you can, lol!:D As I remember, that was the best part of my heart surgery:p |
Oh Cindy, I'm so sorry the problem ended up being more complicated. Praying for you to heal and for that stupid pain to go away! Hugs! |
Sorry about the complications and pain. That's a shame you had to be a tough case! Hopefully we'll see you are home tomorrow and feeling a bit better. At least you can eat decent food at home. Rest, rest, rest this weekend and pamper yourself. Hope you feel better very very soon. |
update on my roller coaster ride. So as many of you know, Thursday went back in to have another scope and the remaining gallstones removed. When awoke after surgery I was in the most excrutiating pain I had ever experienced. (For those of you who ever suffered from gallstones it was like the mother of all attacks.) The Dr.decided to admit me as my enzyme levels had spiked and my pancreas and liver were inflamed however he was pretty sure he got all the stones out. That night I lived on morphine and gravol every 4 hours. After 2 days of being in being flooded with IV to the point of having to pee every 15 minutes, I finally convinced the Dr I felt well enough to come home. He promised me that if I could keep solids in without pain, I could go home tonight. My dr was away for the weekend but I finally had a Dr who was filling in for him come and see me to discharge. He said he still wasnt real happy with my bloodwork but since I was not really experiencing much pain could go home but.....he said my dr had left a note to follow up with him in a week to do a blood check on the enzymes again and...ARE YOU FN READY FOR THIS??? To reschedule yet another scope for 6 weeks from now as he had put a stent in and now it needs to come out...and...to once again sweep for gallstones..."just to make sure". so tonight I am home' feeling really crappy still, Wallee whining for attention and in the back of my mind..omg...I have to go through this AGAIN???? I'm tellling you, childbirth was easier than this...I guess maybe it was a good thing I lost my job....as it is not over yet. :( Yeah..Happy feeling really crappy birthday to me. |
Ohhh! How awful for you on your birthday. I hope you are feeling better soon. Sounds like you have been through a lot. Happy birthday to you and hope you get lots of Wallee kisses. |
Oh I am so sorry I had my gallbladder removed after fighting with it for job reasons. Then my appendix burst and they took both long scar for me. That was before they did it this way. I can remember the pain and it was way worse then giving birth. I am so sorry you have to do this over again and can totally understand you not appreciating going through all this again. I hope you start feeling better and the next surgery will be a breeze and no more stones. Take it easy and have the dog walker come help with Wally if you can. At least you are home that always beats being in the hospital. Will keep you in my prayers |
Cindy, you poor thing! This sounds awful and in 6 wks., another scope! I am so sorry that you are having to deal with something like this and wish I could help. I\'ve been praying that the Lord will get you through this and He has but boy, was it tough, huh? And more tough times to come! I know that gallbladder surgery goes very well for the majority of people but I also know that when it goes south - oh my!!! I am going to be keeping you on my prayer list until you are over and done with your last surgery and sure am sorry for all of this. I feel like crying for you. Give Wallee a hug and a squeeze from Tibbe and me! Hugs! |
