Love Downton Abbey I am partway through the last eposode, dreading to finish watching it, I get the feeling from a friend that saw it that something bad is going to happen but she will not tell me what.

We are big Downton fans here. But the British, full length version, not the cut down PBS version.

Also love "Sherlock." BBC Sherlock :)

Oh, I love Blue Bloods, too. It is a real favorite of mine. Love all the ethic touches and traditions and way it portrays them in the context of family and community. Love the public-servant-home-and-work aspect. Wahlberg is wonderful in it and so is Tom Selleck. Well, all of the characters are pretty well-drawn and full-bodied. Wish they revealed more main-character warts sometimes but I guess not enough time for that, too.

Me, too. Love the "new" Sherlock and DA. How can we get the other version of DA?

I think iTunes has them...? If not, Amazon definitely does! It's free for Prime :)

I only watched one PBS episode. But, in a nutshell, yes. They've cut out hours of scenes. :/

It's a terrible shocker. You won't like it AT ALL. I was almost mad at the writers.

It's not their fault. He wanted to pursue other venues...Broadway in particular. :(

just finished watching it, :(:(:( very sad, but I did see him interviewed before this season started and he said something to the effect that he did not want to do another season because he had other things he wanted to do. To bad I liked his character. The new episodes are sure to be so so sad. I will miss that show. LOL I felt so submerged in the whole family and those costumes, i saved the series just in case I wanted to look at the costumes and scenery again. LOL I am even starting to like Thomas!

where do you go to watch the British version, I rented the first two seasons and they were the PBS version.

:(:(:(I was to shocked to even cry, I suppose that will come with the first episodes of the new season. I will have to grieve since I feel like one of the family members, of course the upstairs family:D

So you have finished it. Isn't it Ugggghhhh!?!? Well, that's a series for you! One of the reasons we watch - to see what will happen next but this one surprised me. How dare one of the characters want to leave! :D

Oh, well, there's Castle tonight. Going to get my shower early, make cocoa and tuck in so will be all set to watch and this one better not end anything like that last episode of DA did or I will be so mad.

I'm also watching Scandal. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that one. It's so OT.

Oh, no kidding. And her father and that Harley Street doctor! I was really mad at them. I mean if she's going to die anyway, give her whatever chance you can.

Anyway, tonight I guess we'll see Castle channel his inner Liam Neeson as he goes after his daughter and kicks some bottom.

oh my I did not watch either episode yet, should I just skip the first one and go to the second, I sure hope they did not kill her off, I swear I get so into these shows I will feel like one of my own was killed off.

Nooooo!!!! Definitely don't skip the first part! The emotional buildup is critical to the way part 2 plays out.

Yes, watch the first one definitely! I had to DVR the second one and just watched it! Love this show! There are so many I am following...my DVR is getting a work out! lol

mine to, I try NEVER to watch anything that has not been recorded, I just realized that I did not reset the show Smash to record so now I will have to watch the first several episodes on ON DEMAND:(, has anyone noticed at least with Comcast, that there are now almost as many commercials as on reg TV. It frustrates me that I can not record more than two shows at once, for some reason I always have trouble with the Good Wife, always a conflict with something else, that is another show I love. Hey we should start a thread on favorite TV shows, it would be good to find out if people like shows I never watches.

Also does any watch via Hulu, i just use the free one, not the plus. without fail halfway through almost every thing I watch it locks up, does that happen to you guys? It pizzes me off:mad:

Had the Hulu commercial freezing yesterday when I was watching Castle/Target and it was so maddening. The show does fine though just the ads freeze.

I have set The Good Wife to just end 1 hour after the usual time to try to be sure I always get the end. It is so maddening to have a sports event run late and then everything is late. So I went in and told my DVR to start TGW on time but to record an extra hour. Once though that still wasn\'t enough after one of the golf events! Made me so mad. I LOVE The Good Wife.
