Was your cell service messed up by the close call? I really think my "at home" service has been suffering ever since the meteorites went past the Earth. I've lived here for over 2 years & have exemplary service up until that happened & I wonder how many others have noticed it? I have to resend text messages 4-10 times; my calls drop without even a beep from my phone; outgoing & incoming calls take a long time to connect or never do. This all started Valentine's day & I figured it was just all those people saying I Love You. I hope it ends soon! 'Record close' asteroid may miss the Earth but it could take out your phone - Telegraph |
Now that you mention it I have been having more problems with my phone. Interesting. |
Here's Bill Nye (the science guy) in a video talking about what COULD happen. At first he says the "not this one" under his breath. |
I didn't have any extra problems thank goodness. |
My phone's back to normal now :) I'm convinced the meteorite was the problem; from what I'm hearing people all over the US had issues since the 13th. Glad it wasn't just me! |
Ive had issues too! My phone keeps disconnecting from my car, text messages not coming in for days sometimes. I wonder if it will get better now. |
I'd like to blame it on the meteorites, I always have phone issues. I'll get voicemails when my phone is right infront of me & never rang...weird. And I am always having texts hanging out in the great blue yonder, that then come through when I get a phone call. So I'll answer the phone & beep, beep, beep, also have 3 texts coming through at the same time. |

I'm thinking it was probably related to the smaller one that Cuba reported. Cuba Follows Russia With Meteor Explosion - Space News - redOrbit I'm not trying to spook anyone; I've always had a big interest in space & what's out there besides us. |
