want to beat up someone right now This afternoon, dh yelled at me to come to our patio doors. THere was a pack of dogs running across our yard. I txted dd to let her know to watch when they take their boxer mixes out. She later calls me (she lives next door) and says "guess what is in my front yard" It was a mom dog and her 6 pups. SO very cute. The mom had had a rope tied around her neck and apparently got loose or someone dropped them off on our dead end road. Here it is cold, with snow coming down. She finally called animal control who is sending someone out to get them. Apparently as soon as they get done corraling some cows that got loose. My bro in law next door on the other side of us has a fenced in area with one dog. So he gave permission for dd to bring up a cage they have to put his dog in and let the pups and mom stay in the area until AC gets here. How can someone drop off animals like that? I understand rehoming and getting desperate. I have had to rehome some myself but my parents took them. We had feral cats that we had to take to the shelter. My future (i hope) son in law is upset about the rope. Can not blame him there. I am just so mad. I had to come in can not stand to watch them any more. I hope they get adopted. they look like they will be medium sized. Just saw AC go by my office window. Bye little puppies. BTW, I asked but dh said NO Can you guess what i asked? |
This is really sad! I wouldn't be able to watch either. I also hope this momma and her puppies all get adopted to families that will love and care for them. These things just make me sick! |
That's awful...my dear friend, when she lived in MS, would have this happen to her family a lot. People would dump their dogs and come running to her house because of the other dogs. :( I hope that no one has heart worm or anything awful, and they all get great homes. |
That is so sad for those poor mama and babies. I hope they get loving homes soon. |
That is too sad. Some people will just never learn. Wrong to have an animal not altered. Wrong to then let them mate. Wrong to then let them have the pups. And then more wrong to dump them somewhere to die! But then what can we do, there are people dumping their HUMAN babies alive in dumpsters, when you can surrender a newborn at a hospital or fire or police station NO QUESTIONS ASKED and people are still doing this. Too sad. :( |
Pitbulls are so hard to place. I hope it works out. |
