The weatherman actually said it's not too cold to snow anymore.... .... first day in a week that it's not too cold to snow and we are getting snow today!!! LOL 4+ inches. BLAH! |

Still snowing here in CT . . .supposed to change to a mix . . .driving will be FUN when I get outta here at 3 . . . Not sure why if the kids get an early dismissal, the secretaries have to stay unless they want to use vacation/personal time . . .:rolleyes: Apparently, we are expendable . . .:p And the best part . . .my son drove to the University because he has afternoon classes today and they didn't cancel until AFTER he drove there . . :thumbdown So now he has to turn around and drive the 1/2 hour back home . . .:mad: I can't wait to have a glass of wine . . .:D:thumbup: |
Old Man Winter is hammering the Northeast. Is this part of the second wave of bad weather you guys were supposed to get or is that yet to come??? I remember some time in the past one of the weather reports about a deep cold spell somewhere up North hearing a weatherman saying that and I was shocked. I didn't know that could happen but he went on to explain when and why that happens. Bet this is getting really old. |
Oh yes it is. Real old. It is so icy out. I worry my DBF works in NJ and has to drive home to NY. The drivers are nuts. I have a feeling it is going to take him a few hrs to get home |
Aarghhhhhh my boyfriend lives 280 miles from me. Last night it stormed, rain freezing rain and snow so I was on the road by 4:00am this morning to make work on time. It was raining freezing rain the whole time and what normally takes me 4 hours took me 6...now I swear...the snow has followed me...we are under a storm warning til 6am....upto 12 inches.....I can't get away from it!!!!!!!!" :) |
:D I never, ever take any notice of what the weathermen say anymore.... Last time that happened, about 25 years ago, it was meant to be a nice day....warm, sunny, a bit of a breeze....:) Next thing i knew, our neighbour's shed blew away....taking off over our house.....:eek: Nowadays, I just look out of the window....:D x |
