What carpet steam cleaner do you use? So Seb has been soooo bad lately about peeing on the carpet in our apt. and just squirting it with something isn't doing the job. I want to buy a steam cleaner but, have no idea which to choose. I really don't want to spend more than 300.00. Any recommendations?? Thanks! |
I have a hoover carpet cleaner I got at menards...I think it was $250. Just like this one. Hoover Upright Steam Vac at Menards I love love love it. I also have one of those tiny green clean pet machines from bissell...was not worth the $100 I paid for it...I don't feel it suctions enough. |
Rented the Rug Doctor before. They don't seem to be maintained. We own a...I forget. Will have to look. I want to say it is a Hoover. $200 range several years ago. Love. |
We just went out and got a Bissell life off pet model and OMG even though we had a Hoover before for the two years we have been in our rental home this thing has cleaned the carpets so good we used to think our carpet was green it is actually gold!!!!!!!! And it has helped with my asthma and all.... Not the cheapest but soooo worth it and you can left off the little part to take outside to do the car and all!!! BISSELL Lift-Off Pet Deep Cleaner |
If you were closer I would so bring it over to let you try it because I swear by this thing so much!!!!! |
My mom, my brother and myself have that Bissell also. It's good, but not on Berber carpets, just FYI! Good for furniture too tho! |
Strange we have Berber in our master bedroom that has cleaned spots out that have been there since we moved in so we have even had luck with that too.. I wonder if it brands or something. |

I love the Bissell brand, also! I've used a few different ones and I just really like everything about them. |
I have been thinking about a cc i just might give the one you are talking about here. Word of advice is purchase it through the web link below, it shows that three of their retailers carry it and if you check Lowes has a good price and a 6%ebates rebate back plus when you sign up with Ebates you get a 10 gift card from choice of retailers. I found out about them when i bought my Uggs boots. if you sign up use my email as a referral djblain @com cast.net Search Results for bissell lift-off-pet-deep-cleaner/ Cash Back, Coupons and Products - Ebates.com |

we have the same one and dh loves it. he uses it at least once a month. |
Mine is a Bissel with a stair/furniture cleaning attachment. I think I paid under $100 for it. The last one, same machine, lasted 11yrs being used ever 6 months with 6 kids and 6 dogs. I use ZEP,acquired from HomeDepot, spot treatment on the really tuff areas and then I use Bissel or Oxiclean for petodors. When spot cleaning I spray the place with water and soak as much up as possible with papertowels, spray with a bottle of carpet cleaner mixed with water,I use an old towel and scrub the ,,,, out of it. There are 3male dogs and 13 yr old pom rescue that was never trained and doesnt get it,in my house. She will literally pee on my rug and prance around like she did a good thing. She is cute but not the britest crayon in the box. |

H20 x5 steam mop, HSN has the best price on it. I also have a bissell little green cleaner for spot and furniture upolstry cleaning. Of course its not a deep pro cleaner...honestly use this for general cleaning and hire professionals for the semiannual which is every 3 months here major cleaning. I only use enviro cleaners guarenteed safe for pets and kids...enviroment and prego chicks like me. |

it lists them as one of the stores and shows a 6% back, I am now checking that site before ordering anything and then I use it as a portal to enter the actual site, it's odd how a company like Bed Bath and Beyond would work with a company like Ebates since most people already know BBandB but who am I to argue :D |
