I got a few pm where are you. Yesterday I got the virus that is going around here. . . .. Thanks for sharing ;) j/k This is really bad. I have not been this sick in a very long time. Please stay well. You do not want this

OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I feel sooooo sorry for you!!! Welcome to my world!!!! It flat knocked me for a loop......take care and drink gallons of fluids to keep that mucus thinned out....I will certainly keep you in my prayers.....

Sorry to hear you've been infected. I've now got a sinus infection from all the drainage from my "light case" and had a headache since Saturday in all my sinus areas. BP fine so I pretty much think it is all from sinus as it drips, drains and then clogs for hours, drips, drains, clogs forever, over and over and all in nose, throat raw, burning. Ears achy. It works its way around all over before it lets you go sometimes and I hope you aren't one of those! Feel better soon! Hopefully you'll be feeling better when your puppy arrives as it would be misery to have a new puppy and new case of the flu at the same time. It's worst at the beginning!

So sorry you're feeling bad, I get the flu shot every year come hell or high water, I really believe in them because the flu has hit me so hard in the past. Sometimes, it takes a real scare before people realize those shots can be life savers!

I get a flu shot every year and except for 2004 and 2013, they've worked.

I got the flu shot one time, that was enough for me! I was soooo freakin sick it wasn't funny!

Sorry you are not feeling well I hear this flu season is really bad.

I also get the flu shot every year and knock on wood so far I have been fine. I hope you feeling better soon.

Was it a long time ago? They no longer use any type of live virus, and people who get sick the first few weeks need to remember that the shot takes a couple weeks to work, so you were already exposed to the flue. Of course if you’re allergic to eggs, you don’t want to get the shot.

It was when the flu shot first came out....bc I got so sick, it scared me of from getting it again. Thanks for the info though, good to know.

I know, that happened to several people, I was too chicken to get the shot when it first came out, and then a long time after that, but after more than 3 terrible years of the flu, I decided to give it a try.

If you have it more than 5 days, get antibiotics. Do. Not. Wait. I just got over it yesterday (no coughing today!) and I got it December 8! :eek:!

Well it got it from the others lol. . . . The Dr actually said it wasn't the flu, it is a virus that is going around. I was like oh joy. I feel like butt. . . lol

This years flu is horrid. Turned into pink eye a sinus and ear infection on me. Good luck. And stay in touch with your Dr.

I had that mess from Thanksgiving and the cough until about 2 weeks ago. I feel for you! Get plenty of fluids and rest.

I hope you are feeling better, being sick sucks, the only thing that is not bad about the flu is you normally loose weight. I have not had the flue bad in like 25 years and that time after one week i lost close to 10 lbs.

I'm so sorry you are so sick! I know that in the last 2 years I got the Norovirus 2x!!! It was AWFUL!!!! It was 24 hours of the worst sickness Ive ever felt.... then it passes like it was never there!! Crazy! I hope you get better quick!!!

Wow you had it twice. Yuck. I am feeling better. Thanks everyone. I need to get rehydrated. I really tried but I have a huge headache. They said because I am dehydrated. Keep drinking
