So Happy
 
Finially some good news. Since we are self employed when dh had his accident we lost our main income. His ankel is just not healing as fast and well as we had hoped. We had applied for disability two times and turned down. Well his morning we found out that we were accepted. I can not tell you how much this will help. Its been so tight and thanks to family we have been surviving. This will help us so much I had to share I am so happy today 2013 is going to be a better year I just feel it And hoping in time he will get back to work but the doctors say it will be a long time coming. Anyways happy dance for today :D:D:D

Oh, I'm happy for you! And so thrilled he's healing, though it may not be fast!!!!!!!! He's healing. Whew!

Oh, do they ever. And if your dh is slowly healing, at least he's not going downhill, infected and/or losing bone so that is a big thing. It may be slow but if it is happening, that is good. But money enough to breathe helps a lot, too, doesn't it?

Oh Ann! This is fantastic news! I know firsthand how difficult adjusting to a huge change in income can be so I'm really very happy that at least some of that burden will be lightened for your family. ;)

I am so glad for you. It is wonderful. It is so hard to get on SS disability. I know, I had to fight for it. Awesome

Ann, what wonderful news!! In our area about 80% of the population is on disability (most of our neighbors too) and for not valid reasons.:(
It is wonderful to hear of someone who actually needs it getting approved!!! Now with that good news to start 2013, the rest of the year will bring nothing but better days ahead for your family. :)

Thanks everyone. If you would have asked me two years ago do you think you or dh would be on disability. I would have said no way. But boy I can not lie this will help out a lot. And we both have worked hard all our adult lives. But you just never know when something can happen to change that in just a blink of an eye. Never say Never

The Lord is our great provider. Just ask Him for what you need and watch Him provide for you. Trust Him and put all your troubles before Him. He will never let you down. Live by faith, that is all we have in this world and the only way to get through each day without worry or anxiety. I am so happy you have your disability and you watch what other blessings come into your life when you trust and obey Jesus!
