I just got word from my sister why I was not invited to Christmas dinner. She asked if I was being invited and was told NO she can have dinner with her family! :eek: So my sister elected not to attend either. I have three sisters...close to one!
So like you I haven't heard from my mother...haven't really had her call me in over 5yrs...since Dad passed away. What I did to diserve this kind of treatment from my mother is beyond me! I know it hurts Alisha....I will give you the same advice Mark gave me....just leave it alone. One day he will need you...you may or may not be there when he does.
For me, I am the first born....it hurts like "H"...I was in tears when my baby sister told me....that is the last set of tears I will cry for the woman that gave me life. I have to let it go....for my own sanity and for my own happiness....

My dad and I have always been close so this is just odd new thing for me, he was the first man in the state of Fl to win full custody of his child when I was three, my mom stopped coming around when I was around 6 or 7 but always knew how to find me and in the pass year has tried sending me FB messages on holidays or when she sees me on the local Ghost Hunting TV show that I ignore. He did text and say merry christmas and then later to say he was going to eat at my fav restuarent they were pulling in the parking lot then... Well gee thanks for the heads up because I am on one side of town and would need to make the 20 minute drive to my house drop off Guinness then the 25 minute drive to where you are, yea no way that is happening in time for me to get there so I said oh I wish I had known sooner I could make it but I will be at my house by the time you are finished.... Never heard another word and still have not. Now i have ALWAYS been very very very spoiled so maybe he is thinking I have no present to give her so it doesn't mater because he already purchased my puppy... But heck I have crap in my house for him and my stepmom and their puppy... And damnit his present is rather large and heavy taking up my diningroom so geezz you could at least come get it so I can put my table back where it belongs :p so now I am still hurt you half a** made an effort to see me and because I have this huge heavy a** box taking up my dining room!!!! :mad: ok finished venting now haha

There is a black ceramic Tag Heuer watch I want reeeeeeaaaaaalllllly bad we saw in Grand Cayman in Feb but he didn't believe me when I said $2,100 was an unbelievable price for it so after getting home and seeing how much they are in the states he said I could have that watch on our next trip there was no sense wasting extra money on it... Hmmm my only problem with that reply is umm and just when are we planning this trip that will also cost money to go there to get the cheaper watch?? Haha and his other thing was well you need a dressy watch which the Movado is and the Tag is more sporty so you need both... This coming from Mr. I think jeans and work boots should and can be worn for all life events :p
Don't get me wrong I love love love this watch BUT I still love love love that Tag lol and he also got a Movado watch from me this year but he still loves loves loves this watch that I am sooo NOT buying him lol

Lord I cant stand family sometimes....they make me want to run and hide somewhere warm and very far away! Come to find out that the sister that lives in Baltimore also had no intention of coming to see me (she knew I was not stepping foot in my mothers house where she is staying) bc she gave my baby sister my Christmas Card! WTH did I do to get shunned by these people?!
Ok so my marriage broke up....he was an AZZ!!! I moved on, so did he...WHAT?? That's the excuse I'm getting...'you're cheating on your husband' What husband...it was nearly three years ago that we split...just got engaged (officially got my ring)...SMH I don't get it and at this point I know longer care!
As for your Dad...beats me hun!!:confused: Seriously nothing to this date? C'mon now its waaaay past Christmas, come get your s**t! Does he know its there for him and your step-mom? I'm guessing yes! BUT for me personally I would NOT be calling him at all! Just me Alisha...dont take my words to heart....I know I should hold malice in my heart but in my case I'm sorry it can't be helped.
If he knows the gifts for them are there, why is he not calling to make arrangement to come and get them?

It was an invite... He is always always always late showing up to stuff and known for last minute hey lets go eat dinner random phone calls BUT umm it was Christmas geezzz heck for Thanksgiving he called me the night before and said I am bringing food over to your house for dinner tomorrow, ok... Of course I said sure no problem if I am not home yet you have a key to my house. And he knows it is there because he even saw the stuff for her and their pup when I showed him everything in Nov.
As far as your family... Sadly it sounds like some of my Holy Roller type family members that I just do not mix well with. I would THINK family would want you to be happy and healthy instead of being alone or staying with somebody that made you unhappy and stressed which then just lead to illness's BUT as always I have my own opinion about things it seems lol and what kills me is half the time some of those type are guilty of doing what they plan you for so to make them feel better they accuse and belittle others... Sad.
As I have learned in life just because she supplied the egg and the incubator for 9 months doesn't always make her a mother.... Oh btw I also have warped views and opinions of things too if I forgot to mention :p

Were you on a cruise in Feb to Grand Cayman? We worked on cruise ships and sold jewelry and watches...which is what fueled the love :D

And on the Sept cruise I got carat black diamond and white gold earrings.

That damn Hublot watch he wants was still $20,000 when we were in Grand Cayman and in Roatan.... Sorry but I refuse to spend that much money on a watch with how he breaks things!!!!!!

Must really hurt to have living parents that can't manage to to have their children in for holidays and birthdays and just visits. That is so foreign to a person like me who had two loving parents until each died. I can't imagine that Mother ever leaving me or Daddy being near me on Christmas and not having me in or coming to mine. Can't imagine a mom leaving a child.

Oooooh my uncle just texted asking when I THOUGHT the family could get together for present since he did go in half's for my dad's grill and it was at my house.... I snapped!!!!

Told him better yet why don't they tell me when they felt they had time to be bothered with me instead of texting me when they got to a restaurant because I sat at my house till 11pm that night and it became quite damn obvious nobody gave a damn about being around me that day... So when they decide they have time for me you know where my damn house is!!! Of course I got the well we called but got no answer... I sent him a picture of my missed call list and said funny I do not see it on here and even so you damn sure know Ryan's phone number!! Oh well since you didn't come to dinner we all went home and to bed after dinner because we were tired... Hmm funny you have to almost pass my house to get from where you ate to my fathers home and I am sooo F'in sorry I could not click my heels get Guinness home and make it to where you were before you got your food grrrr

My phone NEVER rang all I got from him was a text saying Merry Christmas and then later him saying he was almost at Kickback's and then one from Lois saying you all were there. Which by that point I had no way of stoping to see my grandfather then getting Guinness home and up there in time so I said I was still at Ryan's moms house and could not make it in time but I would be home later... So i stopped by to see my grandfather then called in a takeout salad for my "special" Christmas dinner picked it up on the way to my house set up my wii u played till 10:30 then realized my family did not give a F%#* about spending time with us on Christmas so I gave up cried myself to sleep since I had to be at work at 8am and have not gave a damn since... Everybody's presents are still sitting under my tree where they have been and if you want them fine you know how to find my house and my dad has the key if I am not home, and if they are still sitting there by Jan 1st Then fine I will just take it all back and spend the money on my self!!

You go girl!!!! I would have done the same! I hope they realize Jan. 1 is just 4 days away! Sorry I have no tolerance for bullsh**t excuses! They know they didn't freakin call you in time...seriously...so sorry you had a 'salad' for your christmas dinner. Next year make plans to come to Canada.....we had a wonderful time...just me Mark and the kids! We had plenty of food left over...and you know Guinness and Stella are more than welcome....:D!
