I don't get it!!! Another person thinking they have the RIGHT to take other people out with themselves. I don't get this!!!! I Just don't get it. :( :( 18 children dead. FREAKING CHILDREN!!!!!! Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting: Newtown, Connecticut Administrators, Students Among Victims, Reports Say Hey you know if you want to leave this world.... then shoot yourself.. WHY WHY take people with you, total strangers to you, down too? I just do not get it. First the movie theatre a couple months ago, then the shopping mall earlier this week, and now THIS!?!? I'm sooooooooo SAD for these families, this community. My heart hurts with what this world is coming to. Some people really are beasts, savages and EVIL! :( |

More than tragic. It is maybe the worst mass shooting in this country. Now it sounds like the shooter's mother or parent was found dead. And all of those dead and injured children is beyond understanding. The guy must have been totally insane or something. |
in another thread i said the world has gone MAD. i cannot even imagine what these parents are going through right now..prayers to these families and their loved ones. |
The shooter just updated his Facebook picture December 9th!!! |

No, I just posted on another thread about there being a page that that one Facebook took down is the wrong Ryan Lanza from Hoboken, NJ. He had given Connecticut as his birthplace. Was getting a lot of bad, bad comments on that page!!! It was getting pretty tough to read. Still, those saying it is wrong could be hoaxes, too. |
What a shame for the loss of lives of these innocent little children, the shooter could not have been in his right state of mind to do this..I pray for all of these families and friends |

The one I'm talking about was from Hoboken, NJ and listed Connecticut as his home address or birthplace and appeared to be about mid-twenties. News media listed Hoboken, NJ as his home and that he was from Connecticut. Now they are seeming to say they may have made a mistake on NBC. That particular Ryan Lanza was the only one who fit that description on Facebook. |

Not me, I have no in with anyone connected to the case or investigation. I got it from Twitter link from one of the my Breaking News tweets from CNN or HLN or one of those. That's the one that was getting so many hits on his page and has so many other pages cropping up for various reasons. He's the one that was from Hoboken as they were announcing on TV as the shooter. |
Now NBC saying law enforcement telling them shooter carrying wrong I.D., maybe reason for the confusion. |

Apparently with the police, there was a lot of confusion and even as of this moment the police are no longer telling news media the name. One of the officers from that police department talking to CNN now but won't say. I guess there is still some question who is who. |

This is so sad, and senseless!!! Why!!!!? Connecticut is my home state, and Newtown is such a nice town. This goes to show you that crazy people are everywhere. Hug your children every day. If your children are out on their own, tell them that you love them every time you speak or see them. I don't know how these families will deal with this. I don't think I could. So sad. :( |

You always wonder why a parent wouldn't be getting all the help there is for a withdrawn, loner, autistic child. I hadn't heard that she hadn't been getting him help and that she was trying to help him herself! My goodness - if that is true, it's unthinkable in this day and time. That's sad to hear that he wasn't getting professional help and just so hard to understand why not. |
I was just watching Dr. Phil on TV and he was talking to the family of a violent son who loses his temper and loses control, has drawn a knife on his mother, stabbed the kitchen counter with it and both his parents stated they were afraid he will kill them one day. Yet his father said that he has a gun collection in a gun safe in his home that requires some type of code entry!!! Needless to say, that father was advised to get rid of that gun collection! Who is to say that son couldn't put a knife to his mother's throat and threaten to kill her if the dad doesn't open that gun safe for him? The Dr. Phil show will be in Newtown, CT. for tomorrow's show. |

Im getting so tired of the PC'ness of our government, that is preventing our country from taking care of it's own. I really think it's time USA starts to concentrate inward instead of outward. Time to take care of it's own self, not everyone else. I think there is a big problem with morals and ethics in this country. They are disappearing. We have to get them back else this is just going to get worse & worse. Many people say exactly what I just said..... but our government turns a deaf ear to the voice of the people it seems. No one represents us good law abiding, hard working citizens. |
