These precious 48 hours are all that stands between us ladies and the incredibly fun, exhausting treadmill of cleaning, decorating, shopping, cooking, wrapping, parties, late, late hours, family fun and family "issues" and always running behind. But isn't it all such fun?!?! To me, holiday time is the perfect time to be a woman - we get to indulge in all that stuff we so love to do - except for the cleaning! But all the rest of it is right down our alley!:happythx::santa::turkey::xmastree1:

What will you be doing this last weekend before it all kicks off THIS THURSDAY?

(I'm actually thinking of putting up the Christmas tree!!!!!!) :eek::D:eek:

Preparing for 24 guest for Thursdays dinner. And I agree good for the soul. And a little nerve racking. We invite the son in laws parents and families. That way they don't have to choose sides. But Christmas we get to ourselves. This will be the first year in 13 that my mom will be home. And my brother and his boys will make the trip home also :).

I am going shopping for the thanksgiving dinner, is just us 5 this year, so a smaller dinner than previous years but still have to make it.. also getting ready for Zoey's new family to come over tomorrow to pick her up, so my hectic time starts NOW...LOL

Can you kick back and rest some this weekend or will you be working on Thanksgiving?

Work today but then off till Wednesday so that helps. Still working on a lot of dads paperwork. So the next few days want to get some of that done. We got the death certificates So now we can get the important stuff done :(. I have had a hard time with how life goes on. Not to the point of not being able to function just on my mind a lot. I am a positive person and trying to stay that way. But this was a huge blow. Off to work have a great day

I can just imagine this Thanksgiving is going to be very hard for you after just losing your dad and with all that is still pending in your life right now. God bless and take care. Rest up for a day somewhere in these coming days if you can!

I need to start shopping for the humans in my life... Guinness and Joey (my parents MinPin) on the other hand already have a ton of presents lol and I am sure will get more. And I guess I should start getting the decor down from the attic but I am on my own to do it and my knees and stairs do not get along.
Our big shopping center here has a huge tree lighting and concert with fake snow for his floridians that I want to try to make tonight BUT the husband is working on a roof all this weekend due to he promised a lady 2 months ago her new roof would be on her home for Thanksgiving because she is battling cancer so they want to have their last family Thanksgiving in the home before they sell it, well since it is an historic home he had to go to city council meetings and all kind of BS to just get it approved this past week so being a man of his word he started the project this morning :)

Putting together the littlermaid. First one didn't work. I am not sure if I am loving it. Got the multiple cat one, it is really big. Well if I don't like it Petsmart told me I can return it. Trying to get this house a little organized.

My daughter put hers up today just sent me a picture with it all lit up. Now I am thinking about it. And now you too. Hmmm maybe tomorrow. We need a picture :)

I'm going to be working. Every day except for Thursday HOPEFULLY. The last few years people have called us in on Thanksgiving too. What? you wanna give me some of your money? OK I'll be right there. LOL
