Did I miss something? I read the rules to say the contest ended on the 25th day of the month, and Daisha was ahead by 8 votes after midnight last night.

Maybe I was right about those mob ties.

Something is definately fishy here.... I've had several people tell me they just voted (new people, so the vote timing wouldn't be an issue) and her numbers have not increased..... ???
I'm out of suggestions here.

I emailed my cousin at work and had her vote and told her to get all the other girls at work to vote too as well as any of her friends that are online today. She voted and told me she would get the word out! She said she hopes she wins!! I am all out of people though :(

Yikes! I just called someone and they said they'd get on there and vote when they could... ;) I just checked and Daisha is 900 to Hershey's 899. I can vote one more time when I go home. :D That's 6 votes! :D

I just found out why we are still being able to vote although it said the contest ended Oct. 25, so everyone still even tongiht go on and vote for Daisha!! Even see if you can tomorrow!!! This was on the petendipity forum:

Unfortunately, our offices are currently closed due to Hurricane Wilma. For the moment we will be closed on Monday, October 24th. As the damage from these storms is often unpredictable, we cannot at this time ascertain when we will re-open. We hope that any damage is minor and that we can return very soon.

All orders received on our website will be reviewed on the first day we return to the office. Any pending orders will be shipped at that time and all customer inquiries will be answered then as well. The Pets of the Month contest for October will continue on our website until we can return to our offices. Our backup system will still register any votes cast in the contest.

We apologize for this interruption in service and thank you for your patronage and patience as we work through preparations and then the aftermath of the storm.

OMG--- I'm ready for this to end. It is taking too much out of me. I am risking pushing family and friends away from me with my obsession over this contest!!! ROFL

I just read a post on the petindipity site saying that they were closing the office because of Wilma and the site will continue to count votes until they return. Maybe when they get back they will only count the ones through the 25th.
