Dh has been cooking
 
Well since he is limited to what he can still do he has been on Pinterest a lot. Yesterday he started trying recipes. First one was sesame chicken and fried rice one word yummy. Today he made sweet and sour chicken with white rice. I loved it. He is looking for new recipes as we speak. Not good for the waist line but boy does it taste good. Here are a couple pictures

Bless his sweet heart, he's doing what he can - and it looks like he can cook just fine and then some!!! He's made quite delectable looking dishes, there. Could almost smell that sweet and sour chicken and oh, that sesame rice looks wonderful. I could dig into both of them right now. Give that nice man of yours a great big hug. I can't imagine all that he - and of course, you, too - have been through in this past year and the fact that you all are hanging in there together and he's even started cooking is just amazing. Just breaks my heart but by, golly, he's trying. Brings tears to my eyes to know what he's dealing with, may be facing and up doing what he can.

Thanks it has been a year. He loves to cook so it is great he is up trying new things His foot actually has seemed a little better. He is putting a little more weight on it. Maybe 40 percent So hoping we have good news in nov. But for now I will appreciate all these new foods we don't usually cook. It helps pass his days being cooped up.

I know it's been so tough & you are both bound to be scared. I think it's just tremendous he's not just sitting in a corner somewhere totally depressed! He's trying. Here's hoping and praying November brings good news. Well, he sure has turned out two great-looking dishes and those pictures sent me to the kitchen for a snack!!! :)

Glad he is doing better. The food looks yummy. . . Maybe he is going to have to make some for the rest of us. Hope he is getting better every day. Hugs to you both

Those look delish!....Don't just tease with the pic can you post the recipe link? ;)

I wish my DH cooked like that! I swear if I left for a few days I'd come back home I'd find my DH on the floor passed out from hunger with a can in one hand a and a screwdriver in the other.:rolleyes:

He is finding all the recipes on Pinterest. It has lots of great food ideas. He is planning the next new recipe as I type. :)

Yummy Sweet and Sour Chicken, that looks so good. The other looks good as well.

NOW, I want Sweet and Sour Chicken. I haven't had that in a LONG TIME !!!!!!!!

Glad that his foot seems to be better. I pray that his November check up will bring good news for you both.

I get a lot of ideas off of there since I have to fight to keep my weight under control due to medical issues.
