Saying prayers for you and everyone in the paths....I hate storms:( |
Oh I didn't want to here that. Praying it dies out before it does anymore harm |
Stay safe. Hugs |
We're supposed to have some in North Texas later tonight as a front moves in! I hate storms, expecially late at night! And with Direct TV satellite, if it rains very hard, we lose TV coverage while the rain is heavy and you only have the Internet and radar, etc., and not local TV coverage. That NOAA weather radio station is hopeless as it is just not as current as local TV coverage and doesn't update very frequently, keeps saying the same thing over & over. I wish they had battery operated personal TV's like we used to have - those little handheld TV's, etc., to watch weather coverage on when the cable/satellite are off but since we went to digital, I can't find one that works. So if it storms and TV service goes off, you are kind of on your own as to where the line of storms or the tornado warning is. And that's no fun, especially in the dead of night! Everybody stay safe! |

Oh my what a Light Show we had in the middle of the night. So much Thunder and Lightening and then the rain. Willow was up pacing & panting. Thank heavens it only lasted about two hours. |
I didn't realize the storms were so bad. I hope you are safe and that today is much brighter for you. |
Everyone ok? |
We got 3.1 inches out of it. That's on top of .8 of an inch we got Thursday night. It's good and wet right now!:) I heard there was a tornado warning southwest of Springfield, MO, but I didn't hear anymore about it. |
We were up late with rains, thunder, satellite off only 10 minutes during the one bad storm and now the sun is out and shining and no limbs or damage up or down the street so we did okay. Glad its past though! |
We all survived! I haven't seen any damage on my property but I haven't been out today to see if there is damage elsewhere. Lightening struck something close to my house. I am thinking a tree. It was so close I saw it, heard the pop, my lights flickered, and then I hear "crackling". Scared the you know what out of me.:eek: There was rotation in one of the towns next to me but it missed us. Don't know if there was damage there or not. Girls barked for two hours which drove me nuts! But we are all safe!!! |

Well I didn't have any limbs down, but I do now. Was sitting out on the patio with the girls, next thing I know I hear this cracking sound look over just in time to see a hugh part of the tree come falling down. Scared the crap out of the girl's. I just thank heavens it was on the side of the yard they aren't allowed in, or else I would probably have a dead Yorkie. It took me over 45 minutes to saw it all apart to put out to the curb for the trash man tomorrow. It's times like this I wish my hubby was here and not over sea's. |
