I FINALLY Got My Navel Pierced!!
 
I finally got my navel pierced thanks so Samantha (luzangela) and Nobella (vainchick5)!! As some of you know, Nobella came to visit Sam and me last week. Well while she was here, she helped me get over my fears! Actually, she dragged me (kicking and screaming) to a tattoo/piercing parlor and made me do it! lolol :D :D So now I am sporting a silver w/ pink stones banana type belly ring -- I know, I know, I was supposed to get the ugly RING but I decided against it. :D :D

i would have come with you !! i got my bottom and top done !!
you should have gotten the ugly one it help with cleaning it so you dont get a infection !!

i had mine pierced too, but had to take it out, it got infected cause dumb me wanted a large diamond in it too soon....it did look great though.. your gonna love it....especially in the summer where you can show it off.

Congrats! I have mine done, too. Not to rain on the parade, but like everyone else said, you should get the ring or it will likely get infected. I'm surprised they didn't make you get one. It's only sore for a couple weeks and then you dont even feel it! I've had mine for 4 years now.

villette, OUCH is the word , but for only 1 second and its over.
no medicine or anything to numb it.. just a rounded hook needle that you feel going through your navel... it sounds bad, but its ok once its done.

Sure...I believe you.... and after HOW MANY drinks did you decide this ? :D

I just remember the tats I got and wow - good thing I believed in medicating BEFORE I had them done - (say about 5 Long Island Iced Teas?) it really did hurt !

i walked into the place bymyself and said lets do it... im a big girl now and just sat there of course held the guys hand and was scared to death and he just did it 123

Congrats!!! on your first piercing!!!! I have had mine for 3 years now. I forget I have it sometimes. When I got mine I cleaned 3-4 times a day with Dial liquid soap and kept neosporan (spell???, sorry) on it for about 3 weeks. I had no problems, except I had to by lower cut pants and could not do any crouches at the gym (it was a little sore for a few days).

Congrats! I got the banana shape one too when I first got mine. Just keep it clean and you shouldnt have a problem, well, at least I didnt!

Thanks. I actually decided to get the banana one because the piercer said that I don't have thick skin -- so the bar will move up and down easily so that I can keep it clean. I'm so happy I finally (and I mean FINALLY lolol) got up the courage to do it -- or I should say, got up the courage kicking and screaming lol :D

I was SOOOOO afraid that it would hurt a lot but it didn't hurt at all. It really was only a slight pinch. But I was SOOOO AFRAID -- my hands were all sweaty and felt dizzy. But after it was done, I was like "wow, that was easy!"
