Miss do you need an extra penny? So over the weekend I went to the store to use the Coinstar machine...(I am terrified to use my checking account until I have my mortgage committment) so anywho I'm dumping my coins into the machine and all of a sudden I hear "MISS DO YOU NEED AN EXTRA PENNY?" I turned to see this beautiful boy with Down Syndrome holding a penny up with a huge, proud smile, "its all I got" he said; my eyes instantly welled up and I said "why not, thank you so much" as he walked away he said "good luck miss"... That boy made my year, a token from a stranger who so truly wanted to help, for no other reason but to help...his "good luck" meant so much to me at that moment....I still have the penny and will keep it forever... Just wanted to share this story.... |

Awww what a great thing. Doesn't coin star take a ridiculous amount of your money? We always roll them our selves and take them to the bank for cash. |
