Pens - Opinions please What is your favorite pen? Why? What ones do you not like? I take a lot of notes. I'm not happy with any pen I've tried. Zebra doesn't seem to be as good as before. I dunno. Dr. Grip is nothing special to me. I think I need to use gel for speed and gliding, but it blobs so easily. Pilot G2 is the one I'll be trying next, but have heard mixed reviews. Suggestions? |
Honestly, my favorite is the good ole Bic Crystal Pen. The nice cheap ones. Lol. Now pencils are a whole different area for me. I don't like the Pilot G2 but that is just me. I felt it didn't have a steady flow for me. Instead I would have ink heavier in some areas and lighter in others. Good luck in your search! |
Love the Pilot G2s They are smooth writing, no ink blobs, and come in many colors. Plus they're not ridiculously expensive. AND they have padded grips:) I can't stand any pen with a cap that I have to remove and put back on. They always get lost somehow and it's a PITA to have to deal with. Give me a clickie pen anyday:D |
My favorite pens are Pentel RSVP pens with a fine point. I absolutely hate gel pens because they are gloppy and not precise. In other countries (Japan, China, Korea etc), it's common to have a pen that is .30 (or, .40, or even .28)...this an UBER super fine point, which I love! Do you like a fine point? I do...but many don't...to some, it feels scratchy. But, I don't like a lot of 'glide' in my pens bc it makes me write sloppy for some reason. I get the foreign pens here: Pens - JetPens.com |

I also use the Pentel RSVP pens. I have them in every imaginable color. I will use Bics crystals also. For pencils i'm very picky also. I like the Sumo Grip mechanical pencils or for regular pencils I like the Papermate or Mead #2. :D |

Thank you everyone.:) Got the G2. It is about the best I've used. Room for improvement though. Yup, love fine point and don't like the sloppiness of liding, but the non gel tend to require more force making my hand very tired... I do have an iPad with Penultiateand need to get a stylus. |

I heard from the guy at Costco Apple is going to come out with new versions of stylus hopefully a fine point will be in there...my blob ball one is nice but could be better. |
G2s are my favorite, but I have to hide them- if anyone else uses it I can tell. I write lightly and the .07 makes my writing bolder. |
