Scammers & how they get ya First let me say that I have NOT been a scam victim but I see a lot of talk around the net about how you can protect yourself. I found this article pretty interesting & thought I'd share it here. Solved: Why email scammers say they're from Nigeria | Fox News |
Well thank you!! I look at those emails and wonder how in the world ANYONE could fall for that, especially after all the publicity out there about just this thing! |
It's almost to the point, in my opinion, that if you have email, you should already know about these scams:laugh: If people are still falling for this stuff, they must not be very bright;) Good article, thanks!! |
You mean to tell me that they aren't really going to deposit that 1.4 million dollars that guys uncle left him in my bank account?????? But, he's a prince. Royalty wouldn't lie! I'm still waiting to get the money the president promised us, but I know it's coming. Any day now. Please don't tell me he lied too??? |
Common sense is not so common. |
You would be amazed at the customers we have , who come into the bank thinking this stuff is for real!! It is really sad and it isn't always elderly people either. We tell them it is a scam and they do not believe us:( |
