I am sitting here absolutely dying for some fine, well-made, rich Key Lime Pie, served so cold and tangy and disgustingly sweet it will make my tongue curl and my eyes water!!!! A dollop of thick, heavy whipped cream on top with the curly zest of a lime right atop a la folie. Served on a chilled, razor thin bone china plate drizzled with darkest, sultriest chocolate or tart lemon sauce and a little lime-filled chocolate nestled beside. Heaven on a hot summer's evening beside the lake or prairie.


Anyone else out there in WANT of something so bad you can see, feel, smell and taste it? Share your fantasy! :2hearts2::blush::mtongue::2hearts2: Doesn't have to be food!!!

oh but now i want some of that key lime pie!!! lol

I did want banana pie...but guess what??? I remedied that last night and baked one myself. It was delicious! :D :p

Oh and if we are on the subject of fantasy, It would be a 2 month long trip to my favorite places. It would be to Japan, Paris, Texas, and Florida. Not all in that order and not the most creative but it would make me extremely happy! :)

MMMM that looks divine:D!!!! I'd love the Key Lime, as well, or Lemon Meringue:p Being a diabetic sucks sometimes:cry: I do indulge every now and then, but my body is screaming for a glazed donut right now:laugh: I haven't had one of those in a few years.

What I really, really WANT, though, is a car. I haven't had my own car for almost two years now and it's really starting to bug the $*&#% out of me. We have a huge, very expensive truck that hubby uses for work, so most of the time I am stuck here. I would like to NOT go to the gym at 8:00 pm, or grocery shopping on a Sunday, etc. etc. Every time we think it's a good time to buy a car for me, something happens to this money pit of a house, or the ginormous truck, and the money is gone! POOF, just like that, then we start over again:rolleyes: I am sick of not being able to work, or to give my daughter a driving lesson. She's had her permit for months now and is too scared to drive the truck because it's so huge and she sees me struggle to park that behemoth:p Oops this turned into a rant, sorry:o But if anyone wants to send up some prayers or good vibes or whatever that something breaks soon and I finally get some wheels, that'd be great. Yorkietalkjilly is quite the creative writer and made ME really want to eat that pie she was dreaming of. I can't think of anything else that I want right now except that pie. Off to the store...:)

I think it would be great to teach her how to drive a huge vehicle. Then she can drive just about anything after that. My mom taught me to drive with a very crappy stick shift car. Now I can drive just about anything. LOL Good luck and sending lucky vibes your way. :D

You bet. Will be hoping and praying those wheels will be forthcoming. Having your own vehicle is so free-ing and life is just different when you can just pick up your keys and go. When I was pregnant and my son young, we didn't have a second car and I had to walk everywhere with my son in his carriage or stroller! I was over the moon when we finally got a car for me! Well, I got the car and my husband got a little cheap job. But it was heaven for my son and I to be able to ride around in air conditioning and heat in winter and go places. We did Dallas! We went everywhere. I sure hope that car shows up pretty fast.

Hmmm, I would like for my youngest daughters heart to be filled with joy. That she would see how beautiful,talented and special she is. The teen years truely suck.

I would like to climb in our big 5thwheel with the furbabies and said daugher and travel to all of the wonderful places that I got to go to as a kid.

For everyone else, I wish all the sick babies would be well....sorry vets! ....I wish all us humans would be healthy and able to enjoy eating ANYTHING at all that we would love to eat....and for myself, since I am blessed enough (at least for the time being) to have the first two things I listed on here, I am wishing for a country place in the hill country, say around Marble Falls, a peaceful 5-6 acres, with a 5000 square foot home, 2 thousand of that footage, designed especially for all my babies. I have huge dreams and an unlimited imagination!

Today I want someone to go grocery shopping for me. It's hot outside and I just don't want to move, let alone fight to find a parking spot close in, shop for an hour, stand in line, pay $100's of dollars and drive home, bring in and put away groceries, then bathe, dress again and finally get to sit down. Want to stay in my robe on the couch watching old movies in the A-C with Tibbe sprawled on his back in my lap.

Is that so much to ask?
