Dallas Cowboys Stadium Seating Question OK Dallas YTers, got a question that I'm hoping someone can help me with. Long story short, I'm contemplating buying tickets to a game in Jerry's World. But I'm cheap and not rich and considering getting some of the 'party pass standing tickets.' The standing I don't mind--I'm on my feet for whole games anyway, but my question is, can you even SEE the field in this section. I've never been to the stadium, and can't find much about this section online. Any help or feedback? |

Ah, that makes me feel tons better. Hubby is a huge Dallas fan and is dying to go to a game in the stadium. With UofA opening there this year, I figured that would be the perfect anniversary present, but was a bit wary about spending the $$$ not knowing what I was in for. Thanks so much! |

This sounds like a great gift for your hubby. The Stadium is awesome. |
I think that's probably the route I'm going to go. Thanks! I just can't justify spending an extra couple hundred $$$ per ticket. I know he's mentioned these kinds of tickets before. Honestly, I think he'd be thrilled just to be anywhere inside the stadium. :p |
So you gonna be at THE GAME? |
Don't go!! The cowboys suck lol I am a Texan, born and bred and I don't like the cowboys or UT! Is that grounds for treason against my 'country'?? Lol |

I surprised my husband with tickets last year. He said there isn't a bad seat in the house excuse me Jerry's house lol |
Since she's a Bama fan, this is the game to go to to get the season kicked off right! Going to be a big party. |

I still don't want to grace Jerry with my presence. I fault him for the higher taxes, the crappy roads, the rolling blackouts and the freezing weather last year! Oh and for my going into labor early. He's easy to blame lol. |

But, all joking aside, blame Irving and then Arlington voters for those higher taxes as they chose to vote to increase the sales tax to help fund the stadia! And the business men and women, politicians and realtors, not to mention sports' fans of D/FW would strongly disagree that the Dallas Cowboys have had any net negative effect on this area. The Dallas Cowboys are one of the world's top 4 valued sports franchises, ranked only after Manchester United and Real Madrid, franchises of a world sport; and for so young a team and relatively small a sport(football excels only in the USA), that is truly remarkable! Jones has built a sports empire that began in a southwestern city - not New York or any of the truly venerable "sports towns" of this country or the world and from a team that had truly humble beginnings in the 1960's. Any state in the union or country in the world would clamor to have the franchise! And probably build the team a bigger stadium than they have here. It's a shame the city fathers of Dallas, Arlington or Fort Worth did not have more winter road equipment and chemicals to help clear the roads and deal with visitors to the area during the Superbowl but they just didn't step up. The NFL also didn't help with the ticket snafu and that seating situation for the game. Still, I'm so proud D/FW area and Texas have the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, Ltd. I wonder of Jones wanted to move the team, how many cities would pay just to get in line to try to have him move his club to their state? |
Yes, I went to the game. And yes, it was a big party! :happyboun We did opt for the standing only section and LOVED it! Just got there early and got a spot in the front. And Jerry's World is AMAZING! We tailgated all day w/ some other friends that drove down and had a great time! The 12 hour drive was well worth seeing the Tide kick some serious butt! |
