It's heading our way!! Cross your fingers for us...it looks like showers and storms are about an hour to our NW and heading our way!! It seems the weather plows towards us and then splits right outside of town only to go north and south of us so please keep your fingers crossed...we could really use some rain. :hands::rain::lightning:hands: |

Same here. Just before it gets to us it splits up and we get nothing. We are in desperate need of rain. Hope you get the rain. |
We got ours and I really hope you all get some. It's been a nice break, grass, trees watered well & quite a bit cooler but we had those tragic deaths & 60 flights diverted, interrupted at D/FW that happened due to the wind. Several people were tossed into the water from their boats & kayaks at area lakes. We're expecting more weather tomorrow. |
Well, it disappeared again but it has cooled off so that has helped. I checked the hourly radar in motion and now it looks like our next chance for rain is between 1 and 2 a.m. |
Keep the faith - hopefully the rain will fall! We got over an inch here & clouds kept the sun from beating down and it's humid but much cooler. I'll take what relief we can get. |

We still don't have any rain to make much of a difference....Sometimes I think we're in a protective bubble. The rain will head right for us and then it either breaks apart or it goes north or south of us. Well at least this week will only be about 85, that's an improvement. |
We had a nice rain this morning along with a little rolling thunder :) I don't know how much we got but it was nice. The cooler temps were just right for our family reunion in the park today...partly cloudy skies, light breeze, shade, good and plentiful food and family...it was a great day! :thumbup: |
So glad you got some rain. We had six-tenths on June 21st and three-tenths July 7th. My grass is now at the crunch stage. My yard is way too big to water. It's an acre! Still praying for rain, but there is none in sight now. |
We actually got more rain this evening. I am so thankful for it! We needed it desperately. I hope it continues all night. But we will see in the morning. Praying the rest of you get the much needed rain as well! |
It was hot times today and then late today, it clouded up & got very, very windy. Just knew we'd get some rain but on radar it went all around as it passed us up. But it was almost cold outside tonight right after dark. Tibbe just stood out in the middle of the yard & let the strong wind blow his hair with his little nose in the air. He thinks he's a weather dog or something. He gets really excited & juiced up by wind or coming storms. He played & played out there tonight. But all if supposedly not lost as we still have a chance for showers tomorrow. Cool tonight, though. I'm glad at least most have had a break in the bad heat now. |
