IF any of you have a TISH SMITH, TRISH SMITH, NAN SMITH....on your facebook as a friend...I'm betting you have no idea who this is...they, apparently, are fake accounts that many of us have accepted friends requests from.

I am putting this out there because many of us are already aware and have blocked these trolls...I know by doing this I am alerting her to the fact that we are on to her, but your online privacy is more important to me.

You need to block these names and report them, as we have. Be more aware when people make friend requests, ask who and verify. These people are on many of your friends lists.

Anyone care to guess who is doing this???

Someone with the initials TB.
I had a friend request from Tish Smith and found out that that person was going through my friends list and friend requesting everyone on it. So I unfriended her and blocked my friends list.

I only use Facebook to play their games, so I have lots of friends I don't know. I think it's a mistake to put anything on Facebook or Yorkietalk that you don't care if the world sees. I did learn that if someone requests your friendship and you don't know them, you can report it to Facebook, and they will be sent a warning. If they do it one more time, their account will be suspended.

I was sent a friend request a while back and never accepted it. It's just sitting there waiting for me to accept, which I haven't.

All my settings are private except for friends, I don't accept ANYONE on facebook unless I know them

Nancy, do you play fairyland? It's like the bestest game on fb.:D

I've heard that even if you click on someone's picture on fb, it will automatically send a friend request. Don't know if it's a rumor or true.

Thanks for the warning! I found her on my account and deleted her :) Don't know why I accepted her, but she's gone now!

One of my facebook friends posted a warning a couple days ago, and I was surprised that I WAS friends with "Tish".....She was quickly unfriended, but it just made me mad. There is a reason I unfriended her under her real name and left the groups she would put me in. I don't want to have anything at all to do with this piece of trash.

I know I've declined friend requests from those profiles probably 6 or 7 times over the past year. I recently cleaned out my friends list... anyone associated with certain kennels/ facebook groups got removed.

You know I read that original post way back but then I forgot how tawdry & dishonest OP is attempting to be in trying to get around AKC litter registration rules & asking for help doing it on YorkieTalk in the hopes of apparently defrauding unwitting puppy buyers! The thread takes so many twists & turns, I had forgotten its original issue!

This thread really does speak volumes about an individual with little or no conscience & testifies loudly as it grows ever more appalling to the depths to which that type person can stoop.

That's why I only accept request from people on FB that I actually KNOW. I have a handful of "regulars" from here on YT that are FB friends. (consider yourself so fortunate, ha ha ha)
