Thanks everyone. We never thought it would take this long. We really thought after the bone graft it would for sure start getting better. So when we say the X-ray and it looked the same as before the bone graft we both were very disappointed. He is able to put a little weight on it maybe 20 percent of his body weight. They say if he does more then that he could bend the plates and screws. And we do not want to start all over.. I will stay positive he is so sick of this and has been so good. But I think this last visit really depressed him. |

Prayer said, candle lit....now, please keep the faith! Bless you and dh. |
I am so sorry you both didn't get better news. Sending you positive thoughts and prayers for healing. I was thinking of the same apparatus as what Chattiesmom has posted. My brother had something similar to it after a bad car accident. It is something to consider at least. |
We go back this Thursday. I am praying it is doing something. Otherwise I am afraid he is ready to give up on it. We are going on nine months and he is defintly very tired of it. If the bone grafting has not done anything i don't think he will let them do another :( he is having pain from the first grafting. I think he is to the point of saying if you can\'t fix it take it. His spirits are pretty good but this week will be lots of what ifs till we see the X-ray. I have had my hopes up the last two times just to have them shattered. Not ready for another negative X-ray. So hopefully in these last six weeks something has grown. Will update after the appt. on Thursday . Any extra prayers wouldn\'t hurt. |
Sending prayers your way for a positive report. Hang in there!! Hugs! |
Hoping for better news for you folks. Just a suggestion- before he totally gives up be sure he talksmtomsome folks who have prostheses - they can be a problem, also. Sending hopes and prayers! |
It\'s a huge decision But if in nine months it\'s not healing not sure what the options are. We have heard you can get phantom pains. But he is having shivers sometimes all the way to his jaw. We have many questions this time that is for sure |
I am so praying for your husband, that he gets at the least a report that there has been progress. I cannot imagine being in this kind of pain for 9 long months. |
You both have gone through so much. Praying hard for a positive report next week. |
praying and keeping positive thoughts. |
I can only imagine how difficult this is for him. My thoughts and prayers are with him. |
Prayers going out for his appointment on Thursday and I pray that things are better. I know how very depressing this for him and you as well. Sending lot\'s of hug\'s and good vibes. |
