Are yours real or fake? I mean your Christmas tree, of course! :p We always have a fake tree. I love the look of them, but some people think fake trees are so silly. My bf had a real tree a few years ago, and I personally didn't like that there were pine needles everywhere. So... Do you have a real or fake Christmas tree? [Feel free to post pictures of your trees- I'm getting into that Holiday spirit big time!! :D ] |
Depends...if we have the extra money to spare, we get a real one...otherwise, we go back to old faithful up in the attic! |
I always grew up with real trees and still love them but as soon as my husband and I got married we decided to get a fake and honestly I think it more prettier then all the real ones I had, although you cant beat the smell of a fresh cut christmas tree ;) |
I have a fake Christmas tree, i just dont like to deal with the mess of a real one, I always forget to water it and then you have all of the needles everywhere, plus its cheaper in the long run to get a fake one. |

We had a real tree growing up and I loved it and hope to one day go back to it, but all the fun of the real tree was going to get it. We knew this family that owned a christmas tree farm (they sold it last year) and they would let us have free reign and go over there whole place and look for the perfect tree and then we'd cut it ourselves. We all would go and we'd take all the dogs and it was just a great tradition. My hubby and I got a fake soon after we got married because we were living in an apartment and didn't have room for a great big tree so we got a little fake one. And now with Logan still being a pup and the cat it's probably better too that it's not real. Oh yeah and those other things mine are real and they're spectacular lol. |
3 Attachment(s) We used to get real ones, but mine and my son's allergies are so bad that it's just not worth it. We did have a real one last year after about 12 years with an artificial tree that finally died and I forgot how messy. So I bought another artificial one after christmas. I've had it up for about a week now. I thought I would share some pictures with everyone. In case anyone missed it. The third picture is of the yorkie xmas tree that I got last year from Danbury Mint. I posted it a few days ago. |

We've always had real ones. I REFUSE to get a fake one. This year my parents got my grandma's old Christmas tree from my aunt, I told them to save it until Kevin moves out then put it in his room. :D |

We used to have real trees most years but now I have too many animals that like to play "we're in the jungle" for that to be realistic. The last year we had a real tree I would wake up most morning to find my cats perched in it or it tipped over and laying on the floor. Since I switched to the fake tree I seldom have a problem so for now fake is the only way we can go. |

We always had a real one until the last couple of years. We now have fake. I hated all the needles everywhere & even for months after the tree came down I would still find needles. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh, I hated that. The smell I do miss of the real tree. |
We always go cut one down every year at a Tree farm. |

Fake! I grew up with a fake tree so real trees are weird to me. PLus we put up our tree so early I know you cant do that with a real one. In this case- I like the fake ones better :D ;) :D |

Real tree all the way for me! I just have to have the smell! I Love it. I love Christmas and my Christmas wouldn't be the same with out one! Two years ago my family went to France for X-mas. Well we were staying in this little flat and had all of these great make shift X-mas decorations all over the place. It just wasn't the same. We walked down to the little shop a few days before X-mas eve and bought this little cute tree that was about waist high. It smelt sooo good! We decorated it with yarn and cards, and ribbon. It was so fun! Then smell was brilliant! |

3 Attachment(s) Everyone's trees are so pretty! My bf is coming home this weekend, so we're putting ours up on Sunday- hooray!! I am not looking forward to Olivia and my cat with the tree- I can only imagine how many times I'm going to have to pick up ornaments or the tree itself! I think I've posted these before, but we have so many new members and I just love them, so I'll repost! These are pictures of my mom's cat in the tree last year. I have a fake pre lit tree that is beautiful..I just bought it this weekend. I personally like a real tree better but My 2 year old coughed really really bad last year and i really think it was the tree so instead of using her as a test dummy we splurged and went and bought a real nice tree!!! I agree you cant beat the smell of a fresh tree though!! :) |
I've never had a real tree in my entire life, so this year my fiance promised me a real tree. If it doesn't work out we'll go back to fake next year, but I want a real one at least once! |
