I would say you are the one confused. There was no justice in the killing of an unarmed kid. |

No one is saying Trayvon was an angel. No person, let alone teenager, is perfect. You're supposed to make mistakes and grow (especially as a teen), except that now, because someone decided to play wannabe cop, his life is over. You can try to justify it any which way you choose, but at the end of the day a man took it upon himself to kill a teenager. That is not ok. The fact that this man's father is a retired judge plays a significant role in this, too. The police is notorious for preferential treatment when it comes to their own or family of their own. If you think otherwise, then clearly you also lack much more. This man has a history of being arrested for violence. Arrests that were all closed when one (resisting an officer with violence) is a felony charge. Maybe if the police didn't keep giving him the benefit of the doubt/doing favors for daddy, he wouldn't have been able to shoot and kill a teen. Too late now. The mistake Zimmerman and the police made with this is that they underestimated the love parents have for their child. He probably thought it would go away just like his other arrests, but not this time. At this point, I'm just going to ignore this bondai man/woman/whatever it is. If God forbid their child was ever murdered, I'm sure they'd be singing a different tune. Interesting how this video shows Zimmerman after he killed Trayvon, yet he doesn't look like someone who was just fighting for their life earlier. Because you know, when you have a gun and a teenager has a Skittles, your first instinct is to shoot them in the chest to kill them instead of the leg so you can get away. I have been keeping up with this story for days... Weeks.... I at first was outraged along with everyone else, but admit I only received my info from main stream media.. The tragedy is that young man lost his life. After I have had a chance to weigh all in information available. I don't expect any charges. Because of these facts.. Zimmerman was legal to carry a weapon. He was also neighborhood watch. After being told that "he didn't have to do that" meaning follow Martin by a 911 operator (not police) he had lost sight of him anyways.. And was walking back to his SUV, when he was confronted by Martin and then attacked... I expect it to come out that the teen was trying to get that weapon from zimmerman at the time it was discharged.. Zimmerman had every right to follow him. And he used NO racial slur... The man teaches and mentors black children for Pete's sakes.... It was dark enough that he couldn't even give tell what color he was until he was upon him. This has been spun every way by the main stream liberal media to turn it into a race issue. And sad to say a lot have just took it hook line and sinker.. And let's not even get into the new improved black panther program..... It's a sad day when someone that young dies, But the 6 year old girl gunned down on her porch in Chicago deserves this attention more than Martin does.. Ok that's my 3 cents.. |
Martin did not really live there. He was visiting his fathers girlfriend. |
I think further investigation needs to be done and if the police won't do it ~ then the press will. A neighborhood 'watchman' shot and killed and unarmed minor. Accidental or not ~ he doesn't get a free pass. I sure am glad I don't live in that neighborhood with all their 'watchmen'; wouldn't want to walk my dog after dark for sure. |
Ringo1, I wouldn't either. Apparently that town has been plagued with issues for years. What witnesses say in Trayvon Martin case - CNN.com |

I cannot give enough thumbs up. Sorry but it has to be said. It's terrible that this young man lost his life. HORRIBLE. Did Trayvon deserve to be killed? Hell no... But where are all these protestors when a black teenager shoots another black teenager? Because it happens ALL THE TIME... yet nobody ever hears about. Everything always has to be so damn politically correct. It's just ridiculous that this has turned into a huge race issue. Yeah, let's just further divide the country. |
|
It's not a race issue to me. An armed adult shot an unarmed minor. Oh wait - he was armed with a package of Skittles. I would certainly hope that if this happened in my neighborhood ~ a full and complete investigation would be done whether the participants were green, purple, or blue. |
Well it's been few days and things may have calmed down a bit, maybe not. There have been different reports surfacing that the voice on the 911 tape did not belong to Davis. I am not sure where they got an example of Trayvon,s voice to compare against but what do I know. What I do know is that I am sick and tired of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. They spread their hate and then skulk off into the darkness where they came from. This matter cannot be decided in the media or at hoodie demonstrations. Does it seem odd that a Grand Jury was never convened, it tells me that there isn't enough evidence and that this case just isn't that important, big surprise there. As we banty this back and for on the YT forum I am sure the investigation is going on behind the scene. Some may have to face facts that an arrest may never be made. It could be that the evidence comes out in Zimmerman's favor. As the moves forward it would be better if we could do it without Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and their ilk.
