Super proud of myself. I tried to grow mini roses before and they died. Decided to try again and look at them. Look at all the buds getting ready to sprout. Woot!! :) P.S. Ignore my reflection in the window. lol :D

There are a lot of buds you can't see in the pic too because they are small and mix in with all the leaves. :)

I've always loved mini roses. They are so dainty and cute. I can't wait until all those buds start blooming. :)

I got this one at the 99 cent store and it was tiny and limpy. I saved it. Pretty cool.

LoL! Well that's good!! I have houseplants and outside plants. I love cactus's. I have all kinds of cactus and succulents then my mini roses that are outside plants. I never had luck with mini roses so super excited that these are doing so well. Those are the only plants that really given me trouble in the past.

I love mini roses!!!

I buy yellow ones every year and then try to overwinter them in my breezeway... I've not been successful yet :( So, I'll be buying new ones soon, but they aren't out at the stores here yet...the shelves of full of hyacinths right now.

Pretty.

Reminds me of some I gave my grandmother a few years ago. I much prefer giving live plants that cut flowers. Hers are in the ground now & doing wonderfully.

I'll defiantly be getting more now. Yellow ones are probably really beautiful. I think I'll go for that color next. :)

I live in Ohio, and I plant my mini roses outside in my garden. They do great and bloom every year!

Mine always dried up and died. I made a sort of green house between the garage and house and now they do good. I have a cover between the two that doesn't let too much sun in but they still get a lot of light. I think it was because of too much sun before.

I agree. Live plants are much better than cut flowers.. defiantly. :)

Beautiful! I love roses. We have about 20 bushes on the side of our property. My favorite thing is to go out and prune them... Very therapeutic!

I love gardening. Definitely very therapeutic. I just started doing it again about 6 months ago. It rained really good the last couple days and now the sun is out. i'm expecting my plants to start growing like crazy anytime. I have them in a spot they get rain but not to much and the same goes for the sun. They love it there. :)

Yes, mine our outside in a shaded area. Yours are beautiful. I love the color.

I keep mine in my garden window in the kitchen. They pretty much get full sun most of the day. Every time they bloom they bloom a different color.. Is that how yours bloom?

I have to trim them too, I just trimmed them.. Then all of a sudden the grew so fast!

It has so many buds on it right now I don't want to trim it. It's got 22 buds that I just counted and some that look like they may be sprouting buds. cant wait until they all start blooming. :D

Love my Miniature roses, so much easier to look after than the big ones, take up less room so I can have more, actually got one about a month ago called Lemon Twist that smells heavenly, as minis don't usually smell I'm going to treasure this one. I have also just moved 6 of mine as where I planted them I don't think they got enough sun, so put them into pots so they could get full sun and they are already responding.
Old banana peel is great for them too, either put and old black peel in dirt under plant or make up a brew in rain water and feed when growing, cheaper than rose food too. This one is called Cuddles it bloom profusely all season

Beautiful rose. :) Banana peel? I never heard of that. I'll have to look into it. I usually just water once a week and use miracle grow once a month.
