I am thinking about getting a keyboard. I do a lot of school work on it. Even typing on YT would be easier with a keyboard. Logitech has one that is $20 cheaper than the apple one. Its at Best Buy. Very nice and looks identical to the Apple one.

Well now that you are going to have the IPad, you need to get the kindle app and/or Nook app. I have both of them because I had a Nook before I got my Ipad.....however, Kindle books are cheaper than Barnes and Noble. Then you won't have to worry about carrying around a book or books. You will have them all on one device! :) I think the first book was 388 Kindle Pages, while the hardcover is 382. Not much difference. :)

I read the hunger games a couple weeks ago! It wasn't my taste in books AT ALL but I actually, surprisingly, really loved it!!! I flew through it, too. Gonna see the movie this friday :) But..the 2nd book so far is just not good :\ I'm struggling to make myself read it. I've heard alot of people don't like the 2nd one. Hope the 3rd is better.

I loved the Hunger Games! I do agree that Book 3 was pretty slow.

Can't wait to see the movie!

Book 1 was AMAZING- I flew through it in a weekend. Book 2 is slow for me, but I'm still enjoying it. :-D

Well I finished the second book.

I am about 1/3 done with the last.


So far......1 and 2 are great......3 is slightly odd.


After much consideration on dates...I think I am going to go to the movie today....at 10:30. While all the kiddos are at school. less lines maybe. 11am is sold out :cool::p:eek:

You're quite the avid reader. I take it that book 1 is by far people's favorite from what I've seen. Let us know how the movie is, we're probably going some time this weekend to check it out since movies are free for me :p

Just letting everyone know the movie did NOT dissapoint! :) We went and saw it last night at 3:25am...yes, 3am!!! And believe it or not the theater was PACKED completely. Every seat taken. I live in a college town, so it's not that crazy that so many people were up that late.

Anyway the movie was good and god, I cried like a baby a couple times! :rolleyes:

I just bought a keyboard for my ipad and love it... I got the apple one and it's so much easier to type on.

Thinking about reading the hunger games as well. excited

Do they make cases for the Apple Keyboard?

I want to be able to take mine wherever my Ipad goes.

No movies yesterday.....they sold out. Boo. :thumbdown


But...I did finish the last book! I can say that its an awesome trilogy! 1st book = excellent.....2nd book = slow starter.....3rd book= excellent!

I read all the books more than a year ago! I was so excited when they said they were doing movies. I was definitely curious as to how that would play out with children killing children, some parts were definitely more violent than I expected, but overall I thought the movie was amazing!!!! I loved the books and the movie did not disappoint at all! I would have gone sooner but it opened the night before my wedding and it's been non-stop busy since the wedding pretty much! I'm so glad I saw it though! Looking forward to 2 & 3 very much!
