Ohio members: Anyone interested in starting a Group?
 
Just went a bit crazy in the Yorkie Group section joining numerous groups!!

Nowhere did I see a group for members who live in Ohio.

Anyone interested in starting a Yorkie Group for Ohio members?

If so.....

How do I go about starting a group for members here in Ohio?

I'm not sure how many member there are here in Ohio, but I would be interested in starting a group up for decisions and what ever. You know like showing off our babies and other stuff...

If anyone on YT is from Ohio and think this would be a good idea, Let me know.

Plus be sure to include your ideas for a Name for the group.

II am a member of texas AND south carolina groups...why not ohio too?

When I was little I lived in a very tiny town called East Liverpool, OH. Kinda close to Youngstown. Right on the point where Ohio meets WV and PA.

I'm not from Ohio, obviously. But, did want you to know that there is a very active Yorkie meet-up group in Cincinnati. Not YT related, but some members attend sometimes.

So... now how about those Name ideas and "How to"... does anyone here know how to go about it?

Step 1 - Interest
Step 2 - Name
Step 3 - Get established (?)
Step 4 - Join . . .

:thumbup: I think we have established enough interest. I'm going see about how to get this group up and get the members who have showed some interest to join.

Since there have not been any other name ideas I think I'll go with:

"Ohio Yorkie Lovers"

Did a bit of research and found out that only donating members can start a new group. I had attempted to donate on my two yr anniversary but could not do so using my debit. Since I do not have nor want a pay pal account I was unable to do so.

Would any of you member who have donated like to request the "Ohio Yorkie Lovers" group to the admid?

Group Name: Ohio Yorkie Lovers

Use: This group is for residence of Ohio to show some Buckeye spirit !! To talk about our families, our Yorkies and to take the opportunity to make friends with other Yorkie Lovers in Ohio. Also to allow Yorkie Talk members into your world by telling us about whats going on in your part of Ohio.

Hello everyone, I hadn't gotten any response form my last post. If we want to establish "Ohio Yorkie Lover" group we are in need of a donating member to start our new group.

I'm in Franklin County. I just joined YT, so I don't know much about starting a group, but would be interested in a meet up and joining an Ohio group when all details are ironed out. Good idea!!

Great, and welcome to YT!

I had gotten the idea a while back but sadly I can not be the one to get the group established since I have not donated. I had every intention on doing so in celebration of my two yr anniversary here on YT, but do not have a pay pal account.

So, we shall see what becomes of it.... I am hoping it does not get push to the side and forgotten about.

Still interested in starting a group of Ohio Yorkie Lovers !

For: updates on family and our babies, meet ups, special prayers, cute pics and anything to do with our Yorkies and family. You know just Stuff :D

I have become a donating member... yay ! So, I will be more that happy to start the group if we can get more members who live in Ohio are interested. There is a simular group but there has been no activity for almost 5 yrs. If we start the group I can a will try my best to keep it active.

Anyone out there live in Ohio ?

Would anyone want to join the group ?
