Whitney Houston Just watched Kevin Costner speak at the service, so touching. Alicia Keys singing was just beautiful |
Alicia was having a really hard time keeping it together but she def pulled it off & Kevin was pretty funny. Whitney was a very talented woman & her voice was phenomenal, there will never be another voice like hers. So Sad she is gone.:( |

Could be that they are watching. I am about 45 min from the church and have some co-workers in the neighborhood of the church. they have said it is unbelievable down there. |

I watched the entire 4 hour service, thought it was a beautiful and inspirational tribute to her. Rev. Winan shared a wonderful eulogy message from Matthew 6:25 |
It was a very beautiful service. Done in a in such a dignified fashion for whitney and family. |
I just got to see the last few minutes, I had to go take Delilah to the vet and then take hubby's car to be service, so I missed most of it, Glad to hear that it was done well for the Houston family.. RIP Whitney... hugs, |
Carmen I am sure you will catch highlights on the news. Gov Christie even got standing ovation for flying flags at half staff and sticking to his decision when some were opposed. |
It was a beautifully done service in tribute to her. May she rest in peace. |

Has anyone seen the picture of Whitney on the cover of the Enquirer? You know, this rag just does what it does, but there is a special place in Hell for a "friend" or relative who sells (or even takes) pictures of the deceased for publication and profit! To me, it is a desacration, and disgusting.:eek: |

Oh, my goodness. Just saw the news about Whitney Houston's having cocaine, marijuana and several other sedative-type meds in her system when she drowned. I guess it is no surprise from some of the stories TV, internet and magazines were reporting but it is so sad. You would have to be pretty sedated to have your nostrils, mouth and ears start to fill with water, not to mention the lungs (!) - and not rouse enough to save yourself or call out. |
