Can't believe!! my son is looking to buy a house and he tells me to go on line and look at some of the houses he is looking at. welllll.... I can't beleive that some people would ALLOW pics to be taken and posted on the web of their homes and they are trying to sell their house and you can't even see the counter tops for the clutter and the floors are no better . i watched a video of the sales person standing outside saying how he FELL IN LOVE with this home and was sure that i would too. LOL you should've seen the inside !! what are some people thinking?? they are never going to sell in this economy if their house is a wreck!! |
Oh, I believe it. Counter tops are a huge one but how about unmade beds with dirty clothes on the floor????? We are in the process of buying a house to rent out and you would be surprised at how many houses we saw that were so cluttered and dirty when they knew a potential buyer was doing a walk through. |
Oh my! I can totally understand! When we were looking for our first home, you should of seen some of the places we looked at. I would never let anyone see my home the way we saw some others. We went to one place out in the country that was just a shocking experience. The house was very nice, but very cluttered and messy inside. But that is not the worst part. The moment our realtor parked in the driveway and I got out, I noticed a deer's head on a tree. And I don't mean a fake deer either. It was a tree that had sort of a 'Y' shape as it went up and the deer's head was stuck in the 'y'. You could tell who ever lived there were hunters because of target spots and stuffed animal heads on the wall of their den. But really? it seems like they would've got rid of the deer head before showing their home! I was shocked! |
It is pretty amazing... When we viewed our home, it was an absolute mess! The lady had 5 boys living there and it was a pig sty. Thankfully they took all of their junk with them, but it took a whole weekend to scrub the place down to where I felt like it was livable. We had to tear out their carpets too because it was absolutely disgusting. It looked like someone had taken coffee and drenched the pink (yuck!) carpets. Thank goodness we had original 100 year old oak floor underneath :D |

Oh I can believe it! I just bought my condo November 2011. I saw a lot of crappy places! Luckily this was not only built in 2008, but the couple who live here was meticulous! I got really lucky! |
