I use our juicer many times every week, the Vita-Mix 5200 LOVE, LOVE IT. I got it at Costco. Got one for our daughter in law and son, she loves hers too she found it to help her with weight loss. I got into juicing for the benefits of juicing for nutrition. Had gotten two juicers prior to this one :( supposedly they were very good juicers but I didn't care for them, they got very little use, and were not cheap either :( the Vita-Mix sits on my kitchen counter ready when ever I am :D it makes great smoothies too. I didn't have time to read all the postings but was impressed to see Baby Teddy's recipes, I am right along with ya there. I have juiced veggies that we don't normally eat and like without there taste standing out in the juice :)I think the veggie and fruit juicing has been very beneficial for Jack nutritionaly, I think it has contributed to his doing as well as he has with the Parkinsons. I found a real difference in this juicer over the other two, I will go ahead and name them, Green Machine (very expensive) and the Olympic (expensive one too) I dreaded to clean them while I was juicing and afterwards too, the Vita-Mix is a pleasure to use and no fuss in cleaning, sheer pleasure. Thanks for starting this GREAT thread. Baby Teddy thanks for sharing those recipes too. Hugs, Patti and Jack |

Ok so we've had our Breville for a few weeks now. We got the middle one. I notice sometimes the juiciest ripe fruits don't yield too much juice, and sometimes the harder ones give more juice. Weird. i have been having the craziest dreams since we've been juicing LOL. We mix it with rum btw. :sidesplt: But I do drink it in the mornings too. And it does really help keep me full or help me not snack if I'm feeling snacky between meals. So far so good. The clean up is not too bad. Just mostly rinsing. I feel like I should be using the pulp for something. |
