I'm very sad to report the box to Zamora is officially LOST! :( And of course, there's no way to even know if it'll come back to me so I guess I'll be making another apron. REALLY disappointed... |

Aww, how sad! I wonder where all the 'lost' packages go to? How can they lose a package? How disappointing :( |
It really just breaks my heart. I keep hoping it will at least come back to me so that when she returns I can give it to her but I lose hope of that every day it doesn't show up :( |
It's no damn wonder the USPS is broke! Here's what i got TODAY...nearly 10 weeks after mailing & 5 days after using the "contact us" on USPS site: Dear Sherry, I understand you are inquiring about an international package that you have been tracking. I'd be happy to help you with information on that Sherry. The last scan I show for this item is: Your item was processed through our JACKSONVILLE, FL 32099 facility on March 16, 2012 at 2:06 am. It seems as though the item is being returned to sender, but I cannot be sure since the "Return To Sender" scan has not shown up. I do apologize for this inconvenience. After looking into the matter your item is still on its way, but may take longer to be delivered since the First-Class Mail International delivery time varies. BLAH BLAH BLAH... |
HALLELUJAH! Sarah's package made it back to me ;) Not sure why it wasn't delivered...it's been to Spain & back & the box is still sorta in one piece. I will never ever send anything international again usps. (she'll be home in 10 days!) |

LOL...ok, so I have another (actually great!) update on the story of the traveling apron :D My post office lady was very aware of all the crazy routes this package took for over 11 weeks (because I, of course, made sure they all knew I was bent outa shape) so last week when I was in there mailing she asked me about it & I told her it'd finally come back. She asked if I still had the box & I did. She gave me a refund today :p wooohoooo! There's a GOOD post office story ending for a change. |
