I just love living in the country. We are always surrounded with so many animals that come right up in our back yard. Just had to post what I got a picture of this morning.

I agree I love living in the country...that is a huge turkey Rhonda. I love it in the summer when we have fruit on the trees and the back yard is full of deer eating apples. We had a doe with twins this past summer. They were so cute:) I wouldn't trade country living for anything, even if I do have to order everything online:D

I love to see the deer. I think they are gorgeous. Especially the mamma and babies. :) Now on the other hand, I could do without the snakes! :p

Me to but they sometimes make a very unwelcome appearance..I love the turkey pics..we have them to not sure they are as big as this one though :)

This one is not at our house. It is on our other property. Which is really in the woods. Lol. I loved this one on my Dh game camera.

:eek: Goodness me! Yes, you're very, very fortunate to live where you do...but that's really wild!! We're lucky if we get to see foxes and squirrels!! :D

:eek: I have never seen bear on our property, which surprises me since we live so close to the Smoky Mountains. One of the girls at work had a family of bears in her yard all this past fall. One of her neighbors had a bear break into her house:eek:

:eek: When I was a kid, I vacationed with a friend's family at their cabin in the Poconos. My friend and I were out picking blueberries when a ranger came by and warned us that they were looking for a bear. I was so scared hiking back to the cabin, and I learned later that bears were frequent visitors to the area.

Omg you guys are so lucky!! The only thing I have seen in my backyard was a roadrunner running across my slope haha and of course, hawks, and owls- I havent even see a coyote-

I love seeing animals in the wild. We live in the city, however, we live right next to a mountain (trails and all sorts of stuff)...and we've seen javelina up there while hiking. I've also seen a LOT of javelina in Tucson...the babies are amazing. I see coyote around here too. And roadrunners.
