The nice thing about going with a smaller model new car is that you get a long warranty with it, and you also will usually get way better financing options. When I was looking for my first new car the bank was offering me 9% interest on a used vehicle, but I got my new Mazda for 1.9% over 5 yrs. My new Speed came with 0% for 6 years. Plus, already being a Mazda owner, they took $1000 off the price of the car, on top of a $1000 off special offer.
Consumer reports!! Read them!! | I worked for GM for over a year, family has been working for GM for over 40, and they are not garbage. In fact their 100,000 mile power train warrenty is one that can't be beat. The standard ECO-Tec engine used in their 4 cylinder car has been around forever and stemmed from the GM/Euro cars. Honda tried to mimic it with their VTec engine.
Chrysler was garbage, but has done a compelete overhaul on their bodies and manufacturing system. Especially with taking on FIAT all eyes have been on them and they're bringing themsalves back up in standards.
But to get back to the original post. Congratulations on your new car! Love that feeling of driving around in something new a hip! Does it have a sunroof?? :p |
