Gd saves their dog life My gd is in nursing school and tonite she gave their little pug, Talley, a treat. She turned around to hear her choke and faint. She picked her up and literally saved her life. She was laughing later how she was still shaking but her nursing skills came in handy. Glad you are okay little Talley. She is their pride and joy. |
Wow, thank God she was there and knew what to do. I'm happy that she is ok. |
so happy things turned out all right, glad she was there when she was eating the treat. may I ask what gd stands for? |
That's so great about your granddaughter and their pug!!!! At least she was right there when it happened. :) I did a successful Heimlich on a very young pup not long after starting to eat really squishy food, but was too late finding him passed out...although it was only a couple seconds...and we lost him anyway due to oxygen depravation. It doesn't take much for something bad to happen, and you only get a few seconds before that window passes. I love these little miracles!!! :D I am so happy that your gd was there, level-headed, and so well prepared, and that everything worked out so great! Our very, very best to you and yours for a very happy future! :) |
Glad that everything worked out well for the pug, now that had to be scary... |
Oh wow! That's great! My mom saved my pups life once! I, of course, panicked when my puppy choked and stopped breathing. Luckily my mom sprang into action. Jammed her fingers up behind his ribcage and pushed forward, up came his treat and out came his breath!!! Love my mom! :) |
Wow, I'm glad to hear she knew what to do. How scary! |
Yeah me too. Talley is old now and it seems like she gets choked real easy. It hasn't been that long ago she got choked on meat. They will just have to start watching her real close. Tina is 14 and I don't ever give her treats anymore because she has a hard time eating. Its just not worth it. |
