Wok... I had a wok many years ago, and was thinking of getting another one. There are so many choices!! What do you have, and why do you like it? |
I have Wasabi Wok when I want Sushi and Shogun Wok when I want Chinese food. Oh, you mean like, to cook? Psssh, don't do that. LMAO ;) |
I have one, I don't know the brand of it, cause it was a christmas gift, probably not a fancy one, but I LOVE it, I also have a Paderno smaller Wok which I love. If I were going to buy another one I'd likely go with Paderno, their warranty is awesome and it really is quality stuff. Plus I think the company originated in PEI |
Thanks for the feedback! Babby Fidgeete...lol! I'm trying to decided on carbon steel, stainless steel, clad, electric, teflon, or wrought iron. I def want a round bottom. |
If you posed this question in the food forum you would get more responses  I can start a thread for you.... here ya go ;) http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/peo...ml#post3799941 |

The Teflon or clad defeats the purpose of a wok..meaning moving the food onto different level to control the heat. Now if you just do stir fry it is not an issue. Wrought iron.. I would think that would be too heavy for a wok? I have a carbon steel and you have to oil it and be sure it is very dry or it will rust. I also have a smaller Teflon one for use fast stir fry veggies. Have fun! |
