We get to go home for a few days. Doing the happy dance. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes they worked :D:D:D

Ann that is wonderful news!!!! It will be so much better on your DH for his recouperation to be at home where he will be more comfortable, and added bonus he will have those sweet yorkie nurses to help him get all better.

Yes we are home and pups are with us. But now his pain went way too high. Had to call the doctors they sent us home with lots of pain meds. So many you have to really be careful as it can slow his heart down. So he said you can give one extra of this one but make sure he keeps breathing :eek::eek: great. We got him sleeping for a minute with the last dose. I sure hope it was just the ride home that it will settle down. It is still very very swollen. And I have to change dressings three times a day. Lots of stitches all over. But it's is so great to be home :D:D:D

I am happy to hear you both got to go home! I hope it was the drive home that may have caused his pain to increase. Praying he will be more comfortable as each day goes by. Hugs to you both!

I know how good it must feel to be home. The ride home probably made it worse for him. It's too bad you don't have some kind of inflatable to enclose his leg while you are riding. That would help. I suppose keeping it elevated over his heart would help a bit with the swelling. I am so glad you got to go home for awhile with the babies. There really is no place like home!:)
